MAH MBA CET 2026 exam will be held on April 6, 7 and 8, 2026. For the 2026 session, a second MAH CET will be conducted on May 9, 2026. Candidates can choose to make one or both attempts. For those who take both attempts, best of the two scores will be considered for CAP admission.
MAH MBA CET 2026 application form was to be filled from January 10 to February 25, 2026. The application edit window was opened from February 27 to March 2, 2026. Candidates could edit name, date of birth, photograph, signature, gender and add second attempt for the test. MAH MBA CET 2026 admit card can be expected to be released by last week of March. This year, city intimation slip will be released before the MBA CET hall ticket 2026. The MAH CET 2026 city intimation will be available through login and will contain name of the city, district, taluka, in which candidate has been alloted exam centre.
Candidates who are Maharashtra domicile, can appear for the exam in MH category. Candidates from rest of India can appear for the exam in All India category. MAH CET Eligibility Criteria for MBA/MMS
MBA CET is a post graduate level exam, thus the minimum academic criteria is graduation. Check below detailed MAH CET eligibility criteria 2026:
- Candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
- Minimum marks required in graduation is 50 per cent in aggregate (45 per cent in case of reserved category candidates).
- Final year students awaiting their result are also eligible to appear in CET
- Candidates having CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA score can apply for MAH MBA CET counselling or MBA CAP.

MAH MBA CET Registration Process 2026
The process to apply for MAH MBA CET 2026 was online. Candidates had to mention the number of attempts in the form and pay fee per attempt. Given below is the process of MAH CET registration and application form submission.
- Open the Maharashtra State CET Cell website: https://cetcell.mahacet.org/
- Click on CET examination portal AY 2026-2027
- Click on ‘Register’ tab
- Enter personal details and a password
- Click on save and proceed
- Verify through Aadhaar and APAAR IDs
- Log in with application number generated and password
- Enter personal details, domicile and category
- Upload required documents for domicile/category
- Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
- Enter test city preference
- Pay application fee of INR 1,500 (INR 1,300 for Reserved category)
For 2 attempts the fee amount to be paid was INR 3000 (General categoey) or INR 2600 (Reseved category). Candidates could choose 4 test cities for allotment of exam centre, in the MBA CET application form 2026. The exam will be conducted in about 40 cities in Maharashtra and 12 in rest of India. The marking scheme of MAH MBA CET is very straightforward. The total marks is 200 hundred for 200 questions. Which means, every question carries one mark. There is no negative marking. In case of incorrect attempt, candidates will be marked zero. If they skip a question, even then they will be marked zero. Total marks of a candidate will be calculated out 200 on the basis of their total number of correct attempt.
Section wise the marks allotment is as follows:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension: 50 marks
- Logical Reasoning: 75 marks
- Abstract Reasoning: 25 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 50 marks
The MAH CET percentile is calculated out of normalized scores of every test take across all the sessions of the exam. The percentile is calculated on the basis of top scoring candidate’s marks against all other candidates.
Yes, MAH CET exam pattern has changed for 2026 session. This year, candidates will get two attempts and they can use best of the two scores for admission. Sectional compositions and exam duration remains the same as previously.
MAH CET is one of the few MBA entrance exams in India which does not have negative marking. For each correct attempt, one mark is awarded to the candidate but no marks are deducted for wrong answers or unattempted questions. The total marks of MBA CET are 200 and candidates need not worry about making incorrect attempt. They must however avoid random selection of options as correct answers. They should take time in understanding the question and then choose the option. It is not mandatory to solve all the questions in MAH CET so candidates can spend some time on the questions and then answers. The exam will be of 2.5 hours and if they answers 75-80 questions correctly, they stand to gain a good percentile.

MAH MBA CET 2026 has 200 questions and all of them are objective types. Every question has five options to choose the correct answer from. There is no subjective type question.
There is no negative marking in MAH MBA CET. Every question carries 1 mark. No marks are deducted for making incorrect attempt or leaving questions. However, candidates must avoid guess work and try to solve questions first before marking an answer.
The latest change in MAH MBA CET is that candidates will get the opportunity to make two attempts in the exam - April and May. Those who make two attempts, can use best of both scores for CAP registration and seat allotment.
