Due to the change of principal everything will be good in future.

Placements: Almost 60% of the students got placed. The salary package offered is 6 LPA. Core companies did not visit our college, but only IT companies visit here. Nearly 10 to 15% of the students gone for an internship. The new principal made new changes on campus for recruitment and regular curriculum, and everything will be good within a year. Pre-placements exams are conducted for entering placement activities.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are average, but the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Quality of facilities in our hostel, the quality of food in the mess and canteen, medical facilities and sports and games are good enough.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college are helpful, but teaching is not up to the mark. The course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn't make students industry-ready. Everyone should study on their own by going to the library, accessing digital libraries and net lab for our use. Teachers will help us for a career.

KSRCE - Place for learning. Excellent infrastructure But no fun and less placement.

Placements: About 30 percentage of the students got placed. The highest salary would be 4lakhs per annum and average salary of 3 Lacs per annum. Majority of the students in Wipro and few in core companies like sasken, CCC. About 2-4 % of the students got internship in BEL SAIL and other government organizations.

Infrastructure: The college library is a the biggest treasure of KSRCE. The number of days where we could use a book is maximum 2 months. State of the art library with all major scientific books and text books for curriculum. The labs are well-equipped with all the necessary scientific equipments. I am from ECE and we had many labs such as Microwave lab, Digital electronics lab, Electrical lab, signals and systems lab, Optical communications lab with a computer lab. We had a dedicated English laboratory to enhance the communication skills for the students. Bus facility is top notch. More than 100 buses were operated to nearby districts. Bus facility was free during my tenure in KSRCE. Food quality is very good in canteen and hostel. Weekly twice, non veg was provided. Sports person were encouraged regularly to participate in zonal and district level competitions in volleyball, cricket and football. KSRCE is the volleyball champion in namakkal district.

Faculty: 1. The teachers are helpful mostly. Few faculty members are not that knowledgeable and just read out the topics. I would rate the teaching quality 6 out of 10. 2. Course curriculum is not at all helpful for the students to be industry ready. All are old topics which needs a revamp. Also Proper syllabus should be structured to train students for industry ready. Coding and programming needs to be taught extensively in both electronics and computer side.
