KCT - Insight by middle bencher.

Placements: Nearly 90% of the eligible students are placed. The average salary package offered for my courses is around 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course are Decathlon, Jockey, Renault Nissan, etc. Internships start from the second year. Entrepreneurship is also provided by the management.

Infrastructure: It has well-equipped infrastructure with library and labs. It is a Wi-Fi enabled campus covering all areas. Hostel food is good compared to other colleges. Other than hostel and mess, the campus has cafes like Kore, Namma Cafe, East Kore, and KS Cafe. Medical facilities are available 24X7.

Faculty: Professors are highly experienced, and update their knowledge to current trends. The course is relevant to current industry standards. This college provides several internship offers. The end-semester examinations are easy to moderate. The question paper is prepared by AI.

Other: The college contains several actively involved clubs started and run by seniors which gives industrial experience to students.

Satisfied because of faculty members and good placement, good infrastructure, facilities, etc.

Placements: Around 90% of students got placed from this course. Top recruiters include Shahi Export, Voltas, Decathlon, LMW, Ramco, and Himatsingha. The average salary package offered is around 5 LPA. More than 90% of students secured internships from this course. From second year onwards we have industrial visits.

Infrastructure: All labs are well-equipped with good working machines. Classrooms are fitted with smart boards and are well-spaced. Many places have Wi-Fi facilities including hostel. Food and snacks at hostel are good and medical facilities are available 24/7. Regarding sports and games, we have good tutors and teamwork and achieved many prizes.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful and friendly. All teachers have more experience in teaching field and the quality of teaching is very good. Difficulty in semester exams is a little less. Mostly everyone who studies at least 60% of the subject can pass exams easily. All exams are conducted based on Artificial Intelligence question paper. So it makes students more knowledgeable.

Other: Placement and quality of education for B.Tech Textile Technology in and around Tamilnadu is better in Kumaraguru College compared to other colleges. We have yearly 2 cultural programs. Many scholarships are available in our college.

This is a very good college in all aspects.

Placements: I did not place in any company, because I am in covid batch. The past batches were mostly placed in multi-national companies and small-scale industries. They take interview classes separately to help students.

Infrastructure: I had always free and independent life in this college. This college and hostel both were international level infrastructure, and more piece and column.

Faculty: Exams were easy, to clear all papers in the first attempt, and minimum guarantee to fill paper students were cross pass marks, especially textile technology department that was very good to enjoy college life, so I would recommend to join this college.

Other: The culture programs were conducted every year in this college.

All the machine are old in this college.

Placements: 40 percent of students were placed here. Rs 30k per month is the salary package offered here on average. LMW Coimbatore is the major recruiter here. 70 percent of students get internships from here. The salary is not high as offered in other departments. That is the main disadvantage of getting into the Textile branch. If you need any higher package there is no scope in the Textile field but the study is good here.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are good and the library is also good. Food is the worst provided here. But the hostel is cleaned every day. The hostel is hygienic but the food is not nice and they have to improve the taste of the food. The Wi-Fi is available there but it is damn slow and there is slow internet you would receive on your mobile also.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and they make us study well. Exams are somewhat easy here. There also have been some changes in the syllabus also. But there are no major updates in the syllabus. You can complain about teachers also and the college takes straight action on receiving the complaint.

Other: In order to better learn about textiles, the college needs to have new machines. No extracurricular activities are conducted here.
