Huge information about PSG.
Placements: I studied Textile Technology course in my college. Regarding this course, placement was good but not excellent. 90% of students were placed. 4.5 LPA is the average package. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Aditya Birla, Accenture, TCS. Top roles offered are SDE, Analyst, IE in Garments, and Production Manager.
Infrastructure: Inside the classroom, there is no Wi-Fi offered. The infrastructure for my course is well organized. The classroom is well organized. Regarding the books for my course, all the books are available in the library. Food is of average standard. We can consider the food quality, but not the taste.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have completed their doctorate, and most of the faculty members are knowledgeable. Yes, the curriculum they offered was relatable and knowledgeable. The semester exam was somewhat difficult because the curriculum we studied was good.
Other: They conduct the event rarely. There is no need for improving anything regarding my course because everything about my course was of a good standard.

Review of PSGCT Coimbatore.
Placements: Almost 100% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Amazon, TCS, etc., visit our college. Around 20% of students got internships in Aditya Birla, Himatsingka, etc. Top roles offered are senior manager, assistant manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college provides Wi-Fi. All laboratories are fully equipped with all sorts of advanced instruments. Our classrooms are good and spacious. Our library consists of more than 1,00,000 books.
Faculty: All teachers are well-encouraging. They assist us. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is worth the money paid. Every subject is well-planned and framed. It is an autonomous college. Our college makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is above 80%.
Other: I am from a textile background, so I chose this course. Our college should organise more industrial visits. Many alumni meetings are held in our college.

In 2019, placements were peak in our college and about 100% of students were placed.
Placements: Every year, about 95% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, the average salary package offered is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Decathlon, Adithya Birla, Lakshmi Mills, TCS, and HCL. Students got internships from many companies in Tiruppur and Coimbatore. Roles offered are field manager and quality analyser.
Infrastructure: In our college, lab instruments are of international standard in quality and most of them are exported from foreign countries. Our college has good infrastructure. They provide good and hygienic food. PSG hospital is near to our college. We have both indoor and outdoor stadium for various sports.
Faculty: In our department, faculty members are very experienced. We have good lab faculty members in our college. Their teaching quality is excellent. Most of the staff members are friendly. We can ask doubts at any time. They acquired more knowledge in their subjects. The course curriculum is revelent. It gives some ideas to students to start their own industries. Most of the questions in semester exams are field-oriented.
Other: I chose this because the area in which I live is mostly dependent on textile industries. We can gain more knowledge in our course because it is mostly dependent on field site.

Our college is the best for engineering courses.
Placements: More than 90% of well-educated students who have speaking skills are recruited from our college. The college provides good knowledge and produces good engineers to contribute well. The highest salary package offered by Amazon is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The top recruiting company is Amazon. Most students get placed but due to covid 19 pandemic, most students do not go outside but many students do online internships in Lakshmi Mills. PSG College engineer course is the best course and PSG is known for engineering only but it has many other courses also.
Infrastructure: Our college has facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library for students. Our library has updated books. The canteen and medical facilities are also good. The negative point about deans is they are strict. If you want to enjoy it then this college is not for you.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well qualified and have sufficient experience also. The course curriculum is very much relevant because there are many other courses that enhance our drafting and skills and our communication skills to survey the environment.

PSG tech is the best college you could join.
Placements: Over 95% of students were placed. The highest salary was around 65k and the lowest salary is 30000. top companies are TCS and Wipro and other top companies. One of the best colleges for placement is PSG tech. They are teaching us about placement class.
Infrastructure: There are many computer labs and PSG has one of the best libraries it is named grd libraries. We have free Wi-Fi at the hostel. We have PSG hospital nearby and there are so many options for games we have two grounds and mess food is good but not too good.
Faculty: All the teachers here have experience of over 12 years and more. They make us understand everything. If we have any doubt we can call them and ask. The pass percentage is 50 per. The semester is not too tough to clear it is easy. We can score easily in internal exams.
Other: I chose textile technology because this course will never have an end. This course is the best in PSG.

It is the best college to learn knowledge.
Placements: Students who have opted for placement are all placed. The highest salary package that was offered to us was 10.5 LPA, and the average salary package was 4.5 LPA. Companies that visited our college for placements are Amazon, CTS, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Reliance, Aditya Birla, cognizant, etc. Around 65% went for an internship and got a certificate. Lots of posts are available according to your tier field. You can opt for placement easily.
Infrastructure: Our college is all well-equipped with new technology. We have good labs, classes, and a hostel. The food in our college is average. The canteen will be good with all sports available. Rooms are regularly cleaned and maintenance is also available. A well-equipped computer lab is also available in the hostel. There are also laundry facilities available.
Faculty: We have highly experienced faculty to get more information from them. Our course has a well-designed curriculum for textile technology. The pass percentage of our college is 90%. Offline semester exams will be easier than online. Our college's library has a large selection of books.

Our institute builds both career and life.
Placements: In our batch, there were 72 students out of which 48 students opted for placements through our college. I am the placement representative of our batch and assisted the placement cell in our batch in placement activities. Almost 100% of the students from our batch got placements with the help of constant support provided by the textile department as well. One unique thing about PSG Tech is that the placement process is available for all the branches in most of the companies. There is also a slot sharing system where 5-7 major tech companies like TCS, CTS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Cognizant, etc., visit our campus, and the selection process will be conducted for one week. Students are allowed to attend placements in all the companies in a slot sharing system and choose their companies based on their preference. The highest salary package offered for our department students was 8 LPA (for a technical role) and 5.5 LPA (for a core role). The average salary package offered for the entire batch was 2.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Mu Sigma, Decathlon, SRF, Voltas and LatentView are few notorious brands which recruited students from our batch. Almost 90% of the students from our batch got summer internships.
Infrastructure: For infrastructural facilities like computer labs and libraries, students are not restricted to use the facilities available in their department only. There is a dedicated computer lab for us with more than 500 computers where any student from any department can visit and access the internet. In addition to that, there are computer facilities with the internet facility in the library as well. The library is equipped with immense resources, and I spent quite a good time inside the library. It is very peaceful and provided with scan and photocopying options. There was an auditorium for cultural events which can accommodate more than 1,000 students. Classroom facilities are conducive enough for the learning process as they are provided with good quality furniture and fans. There were enough number of projectors and OHP in the classrooms for teaching. Hostel life is cherishable for the lifetime due to the high experience it offers. The hostel has a cricket and football ground in the centre, and they are circular in shape. Three kinds of rooms are available for students based on their requirements. 1st type of rooms is economical, where 8-12 students could stay together in a spacious dorm. In 2nd type, 3-4 students could stay together without air-conditioners at a relatively high fee. 3rd type rooms are the costliest where only 2 students are allowed per room, and they are air-conditioned rooms. The food served in the hostel is good, and it offers a variety of food items on a daily basis. There is a dedicated North Indian mess and is not restricted only to North Indian students. Non-vegetarian food is provided twice in a week, and the mess follows a token system not to waste the food.
Faculty: Few professors here are really good at what they teach and helpful to address the doubts of students at any time. We were fortunate enough to have government staff members in our college as it is a government-aided institute. Those staff members were also very good at knowledge and style of teaching. For some of the elective subjects, the department will assign newly recruited staff members who lack content and the teaching style suitable for the students. Overall, you will have a pleasant experience with staff members since none of them forces you to study or to do something. So, this kind of freedom encourages students to think on their own and explore their passion.

Our story begins in this college.
Placements: The placements are absolutely 100%. Top recruiters are visiting every year. PSG Tech is meant for 100% placements. Before the semester of the placements, tech is used to train it's student in every aspect as they have to face the interviews with no fear. We are trained for the aptitude test and others. We'll be trained for the placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the little drawbacks of PSG Tech. As it is at the centre of the city, it has everything but it is just next to being congested. The students are lucky enough to study here. Since everyone and everything is available in the surrounding, PSG Tech is heaven.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified, helpful and knowledgeable enough to teach us. They are too friendly. Their teaching quality is excellent. The teaching method is just enough to catch the attention of the students. They were using all the technology. The student to faculty ratio is 70:1. We are getting the great industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful.
Other: Kriya is a technical symposium which is organized by the college. Intrams is a cultural symposium which is organized by the college. Scholarships are
provided for the students. There are clubs and extracurricular activities.

it's very nice to see that you are checking out fees before seeking admission. In this Institute the annual tuition fees us about rupees 80000/-. However please do remember that a student will need to pay many more types of fees other than this. Hence you should budget for St least rupees one lakh p

Hello Sunil!
No, it is not possible. As you have opted for a non engineering branch (computer science) and textile engineering is more of chemical oriented course, you cannot opt for it.
