The infrastructure is a world class and good ambience.

Placements: The minimum package is 4 LPA, and the highest package is 12 LPA. Compared to the department and the course, in Mechanical, the top roles are in the designing field in the core companies, and the top recruiting companies are JSW, Brakes India, L&T, CEAT, etc.

Infrastructure: In this college, the infrastructure is really good. It has the biggest library and also a digital library. All the classrooms are enabled with smart TVs and also have Wi-Fi. The equipment used in the laboratory includes advanced machinery, so we can make use of it.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, and they have good teaching quality. All the staff are good, and the teaching staff are Doctorate. It’s an autonomous college; the question paper setting is done in the college. It’s affiliated with Anna University. Basically, SKCET is good.

Other: According to this, college fests and events are very low compared to other colleges. The campus surrounding is good, and they provide scholarships.

Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology is the best college.

Placements: Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology placement is good. Every student placement is with a well-reputed and renowned company for example: HCL, TVS, TCS, YAMAHA, etc. My batch was placed with good companies. The highest salary package is 8 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology has good infrastructure and more well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, and libraries. Full campus free Wi-Fi network facilities are available in our college. Our college has separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostel food is good. Foods are very hygienic.

Faculty: At this college, all professors are more experienced. They are really helpful to all students. They are providing more knowledge to all students. They clear students doubts at any time. So all students gather more knowledge and get high percentages of marks. In my batch, 96 percent of students passed all exams.

Other: I chose the BE mechanical engineering course at this college. Because my ambition is to be a good engineer. So select this college. This college's surroundings are very beautiful. More sports facilities are available for this college.

I am satisfied with placements and infrastructure, but slightly disappointed with some staff members

Placements: Most of the engineers in SKCET have been placed with top companies. About 90% of students have gotten placed in campus interviews. The highest salary package is about 25 LPA, and the lowest package is about 3 LPA. About 80% of students got internships in top companies.

Infrastructure: The excellent world-class infrastructure provides a peaceful full environment. Every course has separate department blocks with well-equipped labs and separate department libraries. The college has a separate library with an ample number of required books, journals, and more.

Faculty: Most of the staff in SKCET are Ph.D. holders, and some of them are freshers with a good amount of knowledge. They have good teaching quality. The clubs in the college like SAE and SAR make the students utilise their knowledge practically and make them industry-ready. Semester exams are of average difficulty, with a good pass percentage.

Our college is an amazing place.

Placements: Almost 95% of the placement-opted students were placed in both core and IT companies. Companies like Flowserve, Bosch, Mahindra & Mahindra, etc. About 30% of our placement opted students get internships. Even though we are from the mechanical department, most of us got placed in IT companies (about 90%).

Infrastructure: Our college has very good infrastructure, but the labs are not up to the mark and the machinery in our mechanical department is outdated. We have a good Wi-Fi connection and a big library with 4 floors. The food is below average in our canteen, and we have a Ramakrishna hospital right in front of our college. We have a 1400 m2 diameter ground in our college, and you will have good support if you are a sportsperson.

Faculty: Most of the teachers (about half) were doctorate and degree holders. They are highly skilled and professionally trained to help and support students in both theory and practical learning. Of course, this course makes the students industrially wise. They do organise events like SNAP talks in order to have fearless speeches, and they do take us for industrial visits once in a while, about 9 to 10 per year. The pass percent is about 50%, including internal marks. Even though it is an autonomous university, they set the question papers really difficult so that we could train harder.

Other: I chose this course because I love engines and cars. The best thing about our course is that every teacher is friendly and we can get any information we need. Laboratory machines are outdated and most of them are under maintenance. They need to improve that. They do provide room for all extra-curricular activities, and the campus is large and environmental friendly.

It has a good infrastructure, a vegetarian hostel mess, and knowledgeable faculty members.

Placements: Almost 70% of the students got placed in our course and they are our seniors. The highest salary package offered was 25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. Infosys is the top recruiting company even though our course is mechanical engineering. Almost 20% of the students got internships, and 90% of the students are placed in Infosys. We have automobile engineering as a top role in SAE of our course, and software is our basic for it.

Infrastructure: We have the best of all engineering libraries in Coimbatore. Wi-Fi speed is fast but only 1 GB can be used per day per mobile number. Labs are good and have many equipment and machinery. Classrooms will be condensed, and there are 4 people per table. Food served in the mess is recycled often, I mean if chappati is leftover then it will be remade as the next day's breakfast (Gothu chappati). No non-vegetarian food will be provided in the hostel mess, but we can buy it in the food court. Food is somewhat fine, and its taste depends on different foods. Medical facilities are provided 24X7 but they'll be always closed. We have a small clinic opposite to college, where we'll be diagnosed for an emergency and so on purpose. We have a house full of the ground because school students from outside are also allowed.

Faculty: Teachers teach well, and they are always waiting for clearing all our doubts. They have good knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant, and it will make students industry-ready. It coaches by industrial visits and so. The exams are average, and we have an 85% pass. It's not so difficult and listening to class is enough to pass.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it since my teenage.No official extra-curricular activities are held. It's all our interest.

SKCET was a comfortable college for students who wanted a good college life.

Placements: Placements were good, and the maximum of the 50% of the students got placed through campus interview. Top companies would visit our campus for IT course are especially Zoho, TCS and Amazon. For mechanical course, companies like Sundaram Fasteners, Ashoka Leyland and other small industries visited our college to offer placements.

Infrastructure: The hostel was the best on the campus. The food served would be above average. However, the hostel was very flexible for students, but the hostel was a little bit long from campus. However, the library was a great place in our college where you can easily access internet facilities, and it was quite comfortable for students to relax.

Faculty: Staff members were mostly qualified, and you could be easily able to connect with them. Many facilities were provided to contact staff members, and they used technological platforms to coach students like smart classes and classroom studies. The course was purely depended on Anna university.

Students could learn the freedom of life.

Placements: Placements were good compared to other colleges on the same tier. However, placements could be improved further. The situation of a mechanical engineer was not that good in the current market situation. I have got placed in a reputed core company, but couldn't say the same for our batch mates.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure was one of the best things, and everything was good from food to stay. Hostel rooms were neat and cleaned frequently, but the food served here was not that good. However, we could manage. The location of the college was one of the major advantages of the college.

Faculty: Faculty members were not up to the mark. Faculty members could improve their training a bit because they were good at what they know, but they need more exposure to the latest trends and the technologies in the market. The syllabus was entirely old compared to other top universities.

SKCET is a good college in India.

Placements: I am pursuing a mechanical course from Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology. Nearly 120 students are pursuing this course. Our college management has provided students of our branch with exploring features with updated technology in the core field. So, nearly 90% of the students from our course got placed in software, technical and also core field. They will be going to get entrepreneurship in those companies. Companies like Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, TVS, Ford, TATA, etc., mostly visit our college to offer placements with good salary packages ranging from 5 LPA to 8 LPA. Many students got a design engineer and technical analyst roles in the core field.

Infrastructure: SKCET is one of the most top infrastructure having colleges in South India. The campus is enabled with Wi-Fi facility. The library is one of the most specific rated libraries in Asian, and it encompassed with a digital library for students to update their knowledge to IEEE standards. Every department has its own specialisation facilities like the mechanical branch of our college has SAE club to engrave students in terms of practical knowledge and let them work on vehicle fabrications for national-level competitions. The hostel has a good atmosphere, along with good vegetarian food and playground to make students excel in the sports field. A medical hospital is also available on our campus.

Faculty: Faculty members here are updated with good knowledge, and they teach in a smart way to make every student understand. The course curriculum of our department is designed in a good practical way, and industry experts provide education. Our college conducts an industry visit every month, which helps students to improve themselves up to the mark.

Other: Our college conducts many extra activities to groom students knowledge. Our college gives equal importance to both academics and sports.
