B.E. in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - Batch of 2020

LNCT is working to be the best.
Placements: Almost all the students from our batch were placed in reputed companies. Those companies were Cognizant, Wipro, Accenture, Infosys, TCS and Capgemini. All jobs offered were software field jobs. Most of the companies which visit during the campus placements are software and IT companies.
Infrastructure: Everything is good here, including all aspects which are required for the overall personality development of students. There are basic facilities to top facilities. You don't need to compromise with anything. The sports wing of the college is the best. Maximum chances are provided by our college to students to nurture their talent.
Faculty: Everything here is better than you expect in private institutions. LNCT is a good example for private institutions with very experienced and updated faculty members. Even in the pandemic, classes were well regulated and organised in a disciplined way. They provide every bit of knowledge.
Other: Fests and events are organised very often, which enhances our college life, teaches us the practical knowledge of life, management skills and make us responsible.

Review of Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal.
Placements: Almost 80% of our classmates got placed in various IT and core fields. Most of them were placed in IT companies and offered the role of the software engineer. The average salary package offered in our batch was around 3.8 LPA. Many IT firms like Cognizant, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Infosys and TCS visited here for the recruitment drive to our college. In the end, the college provided more than 1500 offers.
Infrastructure: Facilities are the top-notch and infrastructure has improved a lot in the past 2-3 years. Though the hostel facilities are not up to the mark, it can be stated that one can survive through these circumstances without many efforts. The life at LNCT is filled with adventures.
Faculty: Teachers here are really good. Their knowledge of the subject is fairly good. They act more like mentors rather than teachers. They help us with different references and in every aspect of our lives. The course curriculum is exactly the same as required for the industry. Students are analysed and made ready for the industry.
Other: Instrumentation is a core branch. I always wanted to be part of core backgrounds. The best thing about the course is that it is required everywhere. I would love to see more colleges offering instrumentation as an option for a career. Cultural and sports fests are regularly organised here.

LNCT is the best you can get in Bhopal, but it is just like a school. There isn't much exposure.
Placements: Placements in LNCT are the best among all private colleges in Bhopal. Even non-CS and IT students get equal opportunities. Almost 75% of the students get placements, but the average salary package offered is 3.33 LPA. You can't expect more as you are not from IITs and NITs. Instrumentation branch doesn't have many opportunities in their field but has good career options in CS and IT companies through campus drives.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not too good, but it's okay. We don't have Wi-Fi facilities. However, we have well-maintained CS labs with air-conditioners. Almost every classroom has a smart board in working condition, but teachers rarely use it for teaching. Apart from CS and IT labs, the rest labs are just 50% optimised as few labs have some experiment kits, but most of the labs have only writing tables.
Faculty: If you are truly science loving, passionate to learn the subject and crazy about the application, then go to some other city. LNCT is the best in Bhopal, but the quality of education is too low. Very few faculty members are knowledgeable of the actual subject, and few faculty members are not good. Even we have smart classrooms, but almost no one uses it. They just have a degree, but it's also a fact that students are also not curious about learning. But, if you are studying in Bhopal, the best you can get is LNCT. At least, we do have regular classes. An industrial visit is conducted once in 4 years. We have visited BSNL office. It was nice, and we learned a lot.
Other: The college organises technical and sports fests every year. It's not like what you expect Delhi colleges or other cities. However, we celebrate these fests. I have attended many fests in different colleges of Delhi and Pune, and those fests were actual fests. The fact is that you don't get good and productive environment. It's just a school with too much discipline and less learning. Quality of students is poor. We have good sports opportunities, but you can't play during colleges hours. You can play after college timings, i.e., 5 pm.

The college with good faculty and placements.
Placements: Placements in the college are very good. Many companies like Wipro, Cognizant, Capgemini, and Infosys, etc., visit the college for placements. Also, companies which offer a premium salary package visit the college to hire the students of every branch. Everyone gets an equal opportunity. The companies mostly offer analyst and system engineer roles. Also, our senior batch students were placed in good companies. Every year, approximately 70% of students were placed from LNCT. Placement cell is very efficient. They maintain contacts with each student. They also conduct classes to improve the IT skills of weak students.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure. The college provides all kinds of facilities. The college has a rich library. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There are well-maintained classrooms and air-conditioned labs. The medical facility is good. There is a separate block for games. The quality of the food served is good. The hostel rooms for boys and girls are well maintained. Also, the electricity is provided for 24x7 at LNCT. I am not facing any issues regarding the infrastructure of the college.
Faculty: The teachers of LNCT are highly qualified in every domain. They are very much helpful. Also, their way of teaching is good. They also teach using a projector. We also get industrial exposure frequently. The course curriculum is very much useful. The quality of teachers in LNCT is awesome.

Average faculty. Good placement. Average infrastructure.
Placements: The placements for this year were far better than last year's. Almost 550 students were placed in day one and day-zero campus placements. Companies like Wipro, Cognizant and Infosys were in bulk recruiting mode and took a large number of students. Many premium companies also visited the college. The average package offered was 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility in the college is poor as connectivity is not available, and even when it is available, the speed is very poor. Washrooms are not maintained properly, and there is a need for more washrooms. The software labs are in need to be updated. The quality of the classrooms is average. Other good aspects of the campus are garden, canteen, and bus service.
Faculty: The faculty are average. Some teachers are really good, but there are also some faculty members who are least bothered about the studies and development of the students. All the faculty members are cooperative. They provide proper study material and guidelines.

Completely satisfied with the support from all fronts.
Placements: There were decent placements for our branch, and around 14 out of 60 students were placed. Last year, around 10 out of 60 students were placed. Many companies visited the college campus, and by the end of the first day of placements, about 15 to 16 companies had visited the campus. Many more companies are yet to visit the campus. The posts offered by these companies vary from management trainee to project trainee in an IT or product based company. The internships were offered in Wipro and many PSUs.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and all the labs are equipped with air conditioners. There is a dispensary which offers medical treatment in case of emergency. The classrooms can accommodate around sixty students at a time. There are three canteens available in the college, and they provide food along with delivery facility. The infrastructure is well managed, and it gives students an opportunity to work on the skills that they need to develop.
Faculty: There is one faculty per 10 students, and this ratio is maintained throughout the course. Teaching quality is good with faculty members having specialisations in various subjects. Digital aids for teaching are installed by Pearson Group, and they provide a digital interface for students to learn in a better way. We were taken to various fields and industries to know how these organisations function.

A really Reputed college in old times.
Placements: For Seniors no idea but for our batch at that time around 20 students got selected among 62 students. The highest package is 3.2 Lacs. As most of them didn't got jobs that year. TCS and Tech Mahindra was the only companies that came that year. More or less all the selected students are in much better place right now.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. At that time we have good classrooms also LNCT has the labs for basic subjects. But for advance topics or subjects it lacks the equipments and facilities. From2009-2013 there was no Wi-Fi, basic medical facility was there, the standard of the hostel rooms is same as literally all the hostel rooms in India.
Faculty: Faculty and staff is good at that time. Most of the staff will be good mood and ready to help. They have experience in the subjects and also they teaches us in very focused manner. I still remember many of the teachers and their teaching methods. Also they are very helpful for everybody.
Other: College events are good and the departmental workshops are organised in a very good manner. In 2012 "planet Earth" which was the rest of college was celebrated. The participants from other colleges and the student organizers are treated very badly by the college authorities. Which is not good for the reputation of the college. Still all the student gave their 1000% to save the reputation. But the college lost the respect in front of their own hardworking students.

Absolutely satisfied regarding all the fields.
Placements: Was placed in both in cognizant and Infosys. Currently working in Infosys from last year. In total there were 600+ students placed from my college. Classes were held for the final year students to brush up their interview skills. Practice sessions were held for the group discussion sessions. Verbal aptitude tests were taken.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite impressive. It constituted of 5-6 buildings each of different streams. Classrooms were quite spacious and airy. Labs were well-equipped. There were two canteen inside the campus. Well the food sometimes was a bit questionable. But overall it was satisfactory.
Faculty: Each stream had a different department of faculty be it be electrical, electronics and communication, mechanical, civil etc. The faculty was well qualified and knowledgeable. Although the teaching methods in some of the subjects were old. We did get the industry exposure. Several industrial trips were held for the students to get better knowledge in the subject.
