The college crowd is good, and the college is also good.
Placements: The placement of the overall college is average, not too good nor too bad. But in the case of political honors, the placements are almost zero, as all the students who are pursuing the course don't come for placement, they come for a degree for the civil services eligibility criteria.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is also very good, but there is no A/C in the rooms, Wi-Fi is available most of the time.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and also knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is very good, they would not cancel the class without prior information, and they would also consider your views. The curriculum is relevant to the point. About the exams, they are average, not too hard nor too easy, you just have to understand the concept. The faculty of the Political Science department is good, but some professors are way too rude, most professors are very good. They would also help you with your personal life problems if you connect with them.

Great facilities, infrastructure, a vibrant campus life, and a lively crowd make it worth it.
Placements: In Political Science, only a few number of students actually look for direct campus placement opportunities. But for the ones who want them, there's a good chance of securing a good placement through the placement cell, which is prominent in the college.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is great. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. We have an air-conditioned library with a vast variety of books and an overall really beautiful and green campus. There's an affordable canteen and an attractive nestled joint for kids to hang out. The campus is big and very spacious.
Faculty: Our faculty is exceptionally good and well-educated. The exams are typically DU centralized, making them moderately difficult. The teachers are understanding and very flexible. The course is thoroughly followed and is curriculum-relevant, and the college prepares you for the outside world.
Other: Our college's annual fest, Nexus, is one of the best in DU. And the college is great and one of the best DU colleges you can get yourself into.

College is my second home.
Placements: Our College is quite famous for its good placement offers especially for the courses like B.Com and Economic Hons. As far as the Political science department is concerned, we have good placement history from big companies like American Express with a very alluring high package. The average package is nearly 10LAP.
Infrastructure: The infrastructural facility is also quite good. We are having a big playground with a tennis and badminton court, classrooms equipped with the necessary infrastructure and the canteen is also fine. A new building is newly constructed with all the spacious rooms and laboratories and many works is still under construction.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified and experienced. No doubt one of the teachers is with high cut-offs on the south campus. We also have mandatory attendance requirements that keep students disciplined and studying accordingly. Our political Science department is having very experienced teachers and many renowned alumni belong to our college. Exams are of moderate level and almost every student manages to pass them ( though there are exceptions sometimes). Teachers use modern technologies like smart boards and laptops to teach. In our political Science classroom, we have mikes and speakers too as we have a big classroom which makes it easier for students to listen to the teachers.

Venky : a fantastic vibe.
Placements: EY, Dalberg, McKinsey mostly employ children from B.Com and Eco. Not a lot of options for kids in my course. Average CTC is 3-4 lacs. Top roles are Analyst, Operations, Marketing. The highest CTC is 8 lacs. Mostly people from my course go on to higher education.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent and adequate. There is a newly constructed basketball court. No Wi-Fi. Food ranges from South Indian cuisine to Chinese and Jalebis. Don't know if we ever had a medical room though. Classrooms and library are the usual DU standard.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. The course curriculum is diverse, which does make you a bit unsure about your Master's. The pass percentage is low, and average is 70%. It's a decent curriculum and course, not that difficult. Sometimes a little boring in the second year.
Other: I miss my college life. The events were amazing, the people are awesome.

Review of Sri Venkateswara College, University of Delhi.
Placements: The placements are quite lucrative, which are provided by the placement cell of our college. We used to receive leads of at least 3-4 placement opportunities every day. Moreover, apart from college-level placements, nowadays, we have department-level placement cells too, with loads of opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, especially the classrooms allotted to the political science department are the best ones. The college lacks in providing good internet connectivity. Besides, there are good sports facilities. The canteen is affordable and well maintained.
Faculty: The faculty members in political science and a few history teachers who taught us are quite experienced and up to date. They believe in interacting with students. Whilst, the quality of teaching is an individual trait of the person teaching. Some students like it, and some don't. Overall, it is good. The political science course is highly competitive, interesting and relevant.
Other: Sri Venkateswara College has one of the best crowds in the country. More than teachers, you will get to learn from your peers.

Yes, you can get admission in some colleges in the evening shift if you are from other categories like OBC, SC, ST. If you are from a general category, then there will be fewer chances to get admission to good colleges, and it will depend on the cutoff then.

Dear Anshu Kumar, Eligibility for admission in a B.A.(Political Science) - Three Years Duration Course is a Pass in H.S.C.(+2 STD) with any Group/ Stream. But you have passed SSC (10STD) & D.C.S.E. (3 Years), so you are also eligible.
