The college has 100% placements, and provides all the facilities.

Placements: Many MNCs are recruiting the students of LIT, Nagpur, as it is one of the prestigious and the oldest institute in India. It was established in 1942. List of placements is given on the website of LIT, along with selected candidates. You can check placements on the website litnagpur.in.

Infrastructure: There are many labs and infrastructure is good. And, as my batch is of only 15 students, there is no need for many classrooms. Only one classroom is sufficient for the batch. The lab is having all the equipment, and it is set up like industries. The lab is open to students 24*7 hours.

Faculty: The faculty are very good. Almost all the testing devices are available in the lab. Most of the chemicals are available in the lab. The course is covering all the subjects of chemical engineering along with paints and coatings technology. The placement is excellent. All the students get placement in very reputed companies.

Other: There are many events like React, which is a national conference. Three days annual function is present. Three days hostel day, LIT Model United Nation, Quizzapur, LITAA, Laxminarayan days on 13th Jan and 30th September and also various events are held. It is an 80 acres campus. The summer internship is compulsory after 3rd year. College is arranging the internship. The college has a very good relationship with chemical industries. College fee is around Rs. 26,000 only for open students, Rs. 13,000 for OBC and Rs. 7,000 to Rs. 8000 for SC/ST. OBC students getting their money back by scholarship (Rs. 13,000) and SC/ST students get Rs. 33,000 scholarship. The hostel is also cheaper. It is only Rs. 1,950 for one year as rent, and Rs. 1,800 per month for the mess.

Administration is unfair with chemical technology students for training and placements.

Placements: Last year, the package was offered by Tata motors was 6.5 lacs per annum which were highest. Out of total 18 students 12 were placed on-campus, and 6 were placed off-campus. The companies like BASF, Tata motors, Nerolac and Berger usually visit the campus. Marketing, production, technical service, application, R&D and production are the fields where the students are usually placed. Elite, GFC, Merge, Litman was the companies where the internships and training are arranged for the students.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi service is available on the college campus. The boy's hostel has the free Wi-Fi facility. The labs are not updated to modern technologies. The various sports such as cricket, volleyball, football are played on college ground. The college infrastructure is not good, and the canteen is not hygienic. They are the drawbacks in the campus.

Faculty: The faculty members are good and knowledgeable, but they are not supportive towards the students. The teaching quality is good. The student to faculty ratio is poor. The lack of manpower, faculty and administration makes a difference between C.E. and chemical technology students. They are unfair to the chemical technology students especially the director of the Institute.
