Good opportunities in 2025.

Placements: I was studying in my college in the 2020-24 batch. Sixty percent of the students in my college were placed at different companies around the country. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, the lowest was 2 LPA, and the average was about 5-6 LPA. Marikkar, Sutherland, and Hyundai were the top recruiting companies. Fifty percent of the students got internships at various companies such as Titanium, Milma, etc.

Infrastructure: Our college has many infrastructure facilities. It provides efficient lab facilities for the easy understanding of the course. The classrooms are well-ventilated and kept neatly. The library offers various books for studies, as well as literature books. The quality of food in the canteen is excellent; it's very healthy and tasty. The college provides various opportunities to perform in sports as well as in games.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are efficient and helpful in studies. They are very knowledgeable and qualified with M.Tech or more. They use smart class facilities for the good sake of students. The curriculum is relevant, as it helps students understand the professional and technical side of an engineer. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty; if we study, we can pass. The pass percentage is around 55%.

Other: I chose this course because, from my childhood, I have liked machining processes. The best thing about my course is its lab classes. I wish they could provide one year of full internships, in addition to studies, for the improvement of the course. There are annual events conducted in my college, named Equinox and Attraction.

A college with excellent infrastructure and good value for money.

Placements: At least 40% of students from our batch were placed in the multinational corporations located in Technopark Trivandrum such as TCS, Infosys, Allianz, etc. Some of the students who had scored more than 9 CGPA got internships in ISRO and many government sectors such as KSRTC, KAL, and Titanium.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was impeccable. The campus is nature friendly with abundant trees in between the buildings. The college library is Wi-Fi-enabled and student-friendly. Apart from the books related to the course, it also contains general knowledge books and newspapers. The canteen provides good food.

Faculty: The teachers in our college were highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. Most of the faculty members were retired teachers from government colleges and scientists from ISRO. Course was curriculum relevant and the students had got many workshops on robotics, 3D printing, etc. The pass percentage was 90%.

Lourdes Matha College of Science and Technology (LMCST) is an awesome college.

Placements: The placements for the students of the mechanical department are poor. The college offers many placement opportunities for the students of the Computer Science department. The college has the best placement cell. Some of the students from our batch got placed in IT companies, and they feel lucky since they got placed.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are spacious, and the quality of the labs is very good. These can be one of the most advantages of the college as other colleges lack these kinds of facilities. The college provides Wi-Fi facility for the students.

Faculty: The faculty members are the best in their subjects, and the faculty members of the mechanical department are awesome. They are always helpful and very supportive. They also stand for us unlike the faculty members of other departments. Their teaching skills are awesome, and they come to college every day.

Other: We have a college fest named Equinox, and it's the best in Trivandrum with the highest number of participants and awesome performances.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement and training of lourde Math college is working under the leadership of faculty members and students from various departments. The cell assists the students to secure employments in reputed organizations. The cell arranges vacation training and projects, and also skill development programmes.

Infrastructure: The campus is good atmosphere to study and provided good classrooms. Well maintained canteens and stores, good library is provided for reference to all. Medical facilities are provided in each departments. Students get a chance to improve their talents in sports and other activities. The college is also provided with good hostel facility.

Faculty: Lourdes math consists of well experienced faculty members. They teach the students for the welfare of students. They also ensure the high quality of teaching by conducting class tests, by giving assignments and also through the close interaction with students.

The faculty, infrastructure, and other facilities are good. But the placements are to be improved.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. Four IT companies, who were all small-scale recruiters, visited our college and recruited only 17 students. The maximum package offered was around 3.36 LPA, and the lowest package offered was around 2.80 LPA, and the roles offered to them were system engineer. The placements for our senior batch were better than us. The percentage of placements is decreasing every year. Internships are available in our college. It would be much better if the placements level is maintained well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good and always up to the mark. The kits and grounds/courts are provided for sports like basketball, netball, football, table tennis, volleyball, cricket, etc. The canteen in our college is good. Hostels are provided within the campus with around 300 rooms. The laboratories of each department are well maintained.

Faculty: The faculty members are good. Some of the faculty members are really good, but a few are not. All are well qualified with specializations in their respective fields. Our curriculum is also helpful for us. But we did not have much industrial exposure. The mechanical department was good till 2016, but now, electronics and communications department are leading with excellent records. EEE and CSE departments are good enough.

Average facilities. Satisfied with campus and faculty.

Placements: The college does not provide that great a placement for students. Most of them look for jobs off campus. Especially for mechanical engineering, there is no scope of depending on campus placements. There's more scope of placements for circuit branches.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quiet good. It has decent facilities that one shall expect from an engineering college. Facilities like neat class rooms, laboratories, WiFi , library, conference hall etc are available and can be used by the students.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members are inexperienced but there are a few with good industrial background. But at the same time, it is quite amusing that they are highly knowledgeable and are able to clear the doubts of the students. The faculty members are friendly and are always approachable by the students in-campus and also off-campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of the strict but good teaching and classes.

Placements: Normally private colleges are getting least placement. But they offers about some placement companies. I don't know how much it is truth. But ktu university offers a central placement scheme for all students. So many internship programs are provided by the college that helps students to earn credit points and valuable certificates.

Infrastructure: Good campus with natural beauty and fresh air. Good condition for classes. Laboratory facilities are great and they are providing separate buildings for each department for their unity. Canteen food is really bad and good library facility. Hostel rooms are average and water and electricity are provided sufficiently.

Faculty: The teachers and faculties are taken according to their qualifications and the interview is tough enough. So the facilities are more helpful and knowledgeable. They used both smart class using projectors and also blackboard type classes. The faculties are sufficiently provided according to the number of students. The course curriculum was useful.

Other: EQUINOX is the main fest. It is A great function that conducted by the college. No restrictions and all of the students can enjoy these days.
