Good infrastructure, quality labs, good faculty etc.
Placements: About 65 percent of students in our college are getting placement for sure. The salary offered ranges from a minimum of 15000 per month to a maximum of 30000 per month. Companies like Sutherland, Abasoft, Kirloskar, etc. were the recruiters when I attended the interview. Top roles offered included the title Junior Engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has invested in infrastructure, lab facilities, etc. The classrooms are well furnished smart classes with quality projectors and touch screen boards. Labs are yet another asset of the college with a variety of equipment which allows the students to compete with all experiments rather than skipping a few.
Faculty: The faculty members are qualified, cooperative and friendly, who helps to identify the skill of students and development of the same in them. Activities like go-cart competition, involvement in mechanical garage, etc. are a highlight of faculty members to be mentioned and appreciated.
Other: I was always passionate about mechanical engineering. I was looking for a place that could give a platform to practically experiment what I learned. So I ended up in UKF.
