Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering

Candidate passed with mentioned aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC in the Master's Degree (2 year or 4 semester Master’s Degree after a 3 year Bachelor’s Degree ) or equivalent in the relevant subject are eligible to apply.

Candidate who has completed 1-year/2-semester master's degree (M.Tech. or M.E. or MS ( with CSE or IT or Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Networking and Security or Information Systems or Data Science and Analytics or Cyber Security and Forensics or Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning or Computing Systems and Infrastructure or Software Systems or Cloud Computing or Mobile Computing ) or equivalent) with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grades prescribed by UGC after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree is also eligible.
If an institute has conversion factor of 9.5 then CGPA of 7.5 will not result in 75% marks and hence such a candidate will not be eligible.

A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to SC or ST or OBC (non-creamy layer) or Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
