A well-balanced college with strong academics, good placements, and a supportive environment.
Placements: Placement record is quite good especially for IT and software branches. Many students report 90-100 percent placement in recent batches. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL, and Cognizant. Some students got offers up to 15 LPA-17 LPA in top companies.
Infrastructure: The campus is located in the heart of Chennai, near Loyola College. Well-connected and safe. Labs, classrooms, and the library are well-maintained. Wi-Fi and lab facilities are decent for academic projects. The hostel is clean, disciplined, and provides good food and basic amenities.
Faculty: Faculty are friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Curriculum follows Anna University guidelines but includes practical exposure and projects. Internal and semester exams are fair and manageable if you study regularly. Good focus on soft skills, ethics and communication development.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.4

Strong academic foundation with good infrastructure and improving placements.
Placements: I’m from the 2022–2026 batch, pursuing B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering. Around 80–85 percent of students in our batch got placed. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the average is about 4.5 LPA, and the lowest is roughly 3 LPA. Top recruiters included Zoho, TCS, CTS, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, and Hyundai. Several students also received internship offers from companies like Zoho and Saint-Gobain through the placement cell. The placement training sessions are frequent and genuinely helpful, focusing on aptitude, soft skills, and technical interviews. Core placements are moderate, but IT placements are quite strong.
Infrastructure: The college is well-maintained with modern classrooms, well-equipped labs, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. The library is excellent, it’s digital-friendly with a large collection of reference materials and online journals. The ICAM collaboration brings some additional academic exposure and access to French resources. The hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms and a disciplined environment. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteen offers decent alternatives. Sports facilities are very good, there’s a football ground, basketball court, gym, and indoor games area. The medical facilities on campus are basic but accessible when needed.
Faculty: Most faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and approachable. They explain concepts clearly and are open to doubts even outside class hours. The curriculum is updated regularly to stay aligned with industry needs, especially for CSE and ECE streams. The semester exams are moderate difficult, not too tough if you’re consistent. Internal assessments are taken seriously, and the pass percentage is above 90 percent for most departments. The project-based learning approach helps develop real-world skills and teamwork.
Other: I chose this college mainly for its Jesuit management and collaboration with ICAM (France), which gives exposure to international learning methods. The discipline, value-based education, and placement growth are the best aspects. What can improve: the mess food variety, core placement opportunities, and more research-oriented projects for non-CSE branches. But overall, LICET is a reputed, well-rounded institution that focuses on both academics and personal development.

It's worth joining Loyola - ICAM College of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: Good for placements, we can expect good companies here. Package is also good here. We will get placed based on our skills. Our skill development is important here. Placement training is also available here at the end of each year, and we can expect a good life.
Infrastructure: Our college has well-maintained infrastructure, no issues. Everything is maintained here. We have lab facilities and MATLAB. Library is available. Everything is well-maintained. When it comes to hostel, food supplies are good when compared to other colleges. Our college hostel is comparatively very nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and approachable. Faculty members will give their best in everything they are involved in whatever doubts, will be clearly explained by our faculty members. Pass percentage of our college is approximately 90%, according to our academic year performances.
Other: It has value for money. Campus life will be good.

Satisfied with faculty members but not placements.
Placements: 95% of students get placed in our college in the final year. The highest package is 13 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Infosys, Zoho, and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Many students, even in my class, get internships in top companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good, and the campus is well-maintained with AC. The library is also very amazing. The quality of our mess food is also very good. This college gives full support and motivates sports students to achieve their goals and become champions.
Faculty: The staff is well-educated, and they all help us learn and participate in many events to improve our skills. The semester exams are not very difficult if we cover 60% of the portions well. The course curriculum is really very good.
Other: I have chosen Information Technology because I'm interested in full-stack development. I’m on a full fee waiver because of the AICTE scholarship.

Expected journey - Better infrastructure, faculty, and placements.
Placements: In our college, most of them get placed but not with a high package of 75%. The highest package till now is 15 LPA and the minimum package is 3.5 LPA. Our college invites companies like Cognizant, Zoho, TCS, etc. Internships are not provided for everyone, and only a few students get, and that is 20%. In my course, the top roles offered are software engineer, data scientist, and cloud computing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good-looking and green. One disadvantage is that space is less. But other things are good. The hostel place is clean and they provide non-veg 3 times a week. There is a hostel day celebration and some activities take place.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and they have completed PhD. They guide, encourage, and motivate all students. Teaching quality is good. But one important thing is that there is no spoon-feeding, so we have to learn out of our own interest. If there is any doubt or difficulty, then staff members will surely help us. The course curriculum is relevant and they mostly prefer conceptual learning then memorizing and forgetting. It is not difficult if a person learns at least 30 minutes a day. The pass percentage is 75%. Staff members teach well, and they help us when we ask them. They are always ready to guide and support us. Discipline and holistic development is the important goal in our goal. If we are good, then they will surely support us.

Placements: Loyola Institute has strong alumni placements with various related activities conducted at the college. Around 40-50% of students are placed in our course. The average package offered at the college ranges between 3-7 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, Techion Corp, PTW, Syncfusion, Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure for the CSE course. The entire campus has Wi-Fi connectivity. Labs and the library have all the necessary resources. The college campus is fully secure with ample parking space. Classrooms are furnished with modern facilities. Sports and other necessary amenities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty for the CSE course at our college are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is easy to understand. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Exams are of a moderate difficulty level. Various activities are organized at the college for student development.
