My life in my college, MITS Gwalior.
Placements: Most of the students were placed by their own skills. Around 25 to 30% of students got placed. The highest package is 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 5 Lacs per annum, followed by the average package of 7 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies here are Volvo and Eicher. The students got internships every year through the college itself in the tied-up companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities available for my department are very good. Wi-Fi connectivity is there all over the campus. Labs are there for practical knowledge of the students with enough equipment required for practicals. Projectors are installed in the classrooms for better learning. The library is also there with a huge collection of books. The facilities in the hostel are pretty good, and the quality of food has improved nowadays. The medical dispensary is also there in case of emergency, and multiple sports grounds are there for different sports.
Faculty: The teachers try to help the students in every possible aspect. Most of the teachers are from IIT and have teaching experience of more than 20 years, so they are highly knowledgeable and experienced. The teaching quality is very good, and the teachers are very humble. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students skilled to get hired by companies. The semester exams are not so difficult if one has studied throughout the year.

My perspective of college life.
Placements: The percent of the students placed in my course was approximately 25% through the companies called by the college. Most of the students get placed by their own skills and through off-campus companies. The highest package is of 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is of 5 Lacs per annum, followed by the average package of 7 Lacs per annum. The top recruitment companies here are Volvo and Eicher. All the students get internships by the college every year named Summer Internship after every odd semester of the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available for my department is very good. Classrooms are made very good and well-furnished, and projectors are installed in classrooms. Labs are made in such a way that they contain enough equipment for the practical knowledge of the students. Wi-Fi connectivity is there all over the campus. The quality of facilities in the hostel is good. Food is nowadays hygienic and eatable. A medical dispensary is also there in case of emergency. Multiple sports grounds are there, with limited opportunities provided by the college.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified because most of them are from IIT. They are very humble and kind. They have teaching experience of more than 20 years, so they are highly experienced and knowledgeable. They help students in every possible aspect, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students skilled to get hired in the companies. The semester exams are pretty difficult, but if one has studied round the year, they can easily pass the exams.

The library is also there with a vast collection of books. The quality of facilities in my hostel is pretty good. Now the faculty has changed in the hostel, so the quality has increased. The quality of food available is very tasty and hygienic. A medical dispensary is also there on the campus. Multiple sports grounds are there.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and kind. Most of the teachers are from IIT and have teaching experience of more than 20 years, so they are highly knowledgeable. They help the students in every possible aspect, and the teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the students industry-ready and skilled to get hired by the companies. The semester exams are not so difficult if one has studied throughout the year. Skipping class and not paying attention in class can lead to failure in exams.

Placements: 30 percent to 35 percent of students get placed on campus companies from the college. The highest package is 10 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 5.5 Lacs per annum, followed by the average package of 7 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies here are Accenture, Volvo, and Eicher. Almost every passed student gets an internship every year by the college in summer internships. Some skilled students get internships outside the college by their own.
Infrastructure: Full Wi-Fi connectivity is available all over the campus for the students. The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are pretty good. Projectors are installed in the classrooms, and well-furnished classrooms are there. Proper lab facilities are there for different subjects, and we have different labs for practical works. The college also has a library with a vast collection of multiple books. The quality of the facilities in the hostel is pretty good nowadays. The quality of food in the mess is pretty tasty and edible. As the faculty has changed for maintaining the hostel facilities, there is an increment in the facilities of the hostel. A medical dispensary is also there in case of an emergency in the college. 4 to 5 multiple grounds are there for different sports in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and highly qualified. Most of the teachers are from IITs and have worked under very experienced senior teachers, so they are highly knowledgeable. Most of the teachers in my department have the experience of teaching for more than 25 years. The teaching quality of the teachers is very good and up to date. The course curriculum is very relevant and makes the student skilled and industry-ready. The semester exams in the college are not so easy, but one can pass them and score good by studying around the year.

Sc./ IT/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business studies as optional subjects with the above-mentioned aggregate percentage (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates (except Creamy layer) candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh) in subjects taken together.
Candidates passed 10+2 with grading system, must have grades equi. to mentioned aggregate %.
Candidates who had passed 10+2 with grace marks in any subject can also apply provided they have scored mentioned aggregate % excluding grace marks.

Sorry, but the rankings are not enough and are too far from the closing rank even from home state quota for general category. Round about 220000 are the least for chemical engineering. Moreover, you'll get into Biotech which is around 3 lakh rank in home state only.
