It is the best college with all the opportunities.
Placements: Mechatronics is the new and hybrid branch in all of India. It has more future opportunities as it is required in India for further upgradation of India. Almost 90% of students got placed. The highest package offered is 69 LPA. The lowest package offered is 4.5 LPA. IBM, TCS, Reliance, and many more companies. All students get internships about 99%. Software engineering and robotics are top roles.
Infrastructure: It is the very best hostel and its legacy. It is a powerful place. Only water problems come sometimes. All the others are the very best and also value for money. They had good connections. 8 hostels and good connections among them with all sports facilities and events of their own and self-celebration of all things. The hostel is more interesting than the college. It has good quality food and good sports facilities.
Faculty: The college has the best faculty and understanding students. They help in every sector of the work of students. The curriculum is relevant to it and it is a need of the industry. The difficulty level is dependent on the student. The pass percentage is 80%. Faculty members are well-qualified and most supportive of students.
Other: I opted for this course because I found it the best future course in India. All are best Wi-Fi and canteen should be better. All other things are best. There should be more events.

Faculty for other branches is good, but not good for Mechatronics. Infrastructure is good.
Placements: Placements for B.Tech are not that good. Only 20 to 30 percent of students get placed, and no placement assistance is provided. This year, TCS recruited 20 students with a monthly salary of 27,000. So, the placement rate is not good, and overall placements are also not good.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for the Mechatronics and AI branch is good. There is only a single building for AI and Mechatronics, but the condition of the building is good. Overall, the college infrastructure is good, and a new ground was made this year. All the gymnasium facilities are available, so overall infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are not that much dedicated to teaching. Only a few faculty members are there in the Mechatronics department, and they are not even well-educated to teach. Mechatronics is a new branch, and all the subjects are new, so teachers are not so familiar with the subjects and are not able to teach properly.
Other: College is best for ROI because yearly fees for general students are about 23,500, so ROI is great. If we talk about passing students in this year’s pass-out batch, 25 students were placed, and 80 students are in the class. 20 students were placed in TCS with a salary of 27,000 monthly, and the rest were placed in other companies.

College has very experienced faculty.
Placements: In my college, the highest package is about 12 lacs per annum and the average is about 4-5 lacs per annum. The highest package or placement was given by Byju's in 2019 for the IP branch. My branch of mechatronics is currently a new branch in our college so there is no data for its placements.
Infrastructure: Our respected Jabalpur engineering college has great old infrastructure, which was first built by the British government in 1876. But some of the infrastructure has been made by the Indian government today, like the mechatronics new building and the AI building. The college has approximately 122 acres of land.
Faculty: Our respected college has experienced and student-friendly faculty. For every 70 students, there is a faculty member who tries their best to focus on each student's academics. But there is a lack of faculty in our college in the mechatronics department.
Other: There is a sports fest named Aavahan, which encourages both girls and boys to participate in the activities.

Good value for the money, I am completely satisfied.
Placements: Only 60 percent of students in the mechatronics branch have been placed, with the highest package being seven LPA. Companies like Wipro and TCS come to offer placements to students. Top roles include software development, consultancy management, etc. Students have to work on their studies to secure internships.
Infrastructure: JEC has the oldest infrastructure among colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The buildings are old but in good condition. Each branch has its separate building. The playgrounds are not sufficient for students to play, lacking an adequate play area. Overall, it feels like an old-style building with average infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty is good and well-experienced. They possess good qualifications and knowledge. The college conducts regular exams such as midterms and final exams. The semesters are moderate, and if you put in the effort to study, you can achieve good marks. Yes, students are ready for the industry, and there are several factors to consider while preparing for work.

A good college for engineering has low fees, a good campus, good faculties, average infrastructure.
Placements: Currently, placements haven't happened because the branch is new and most students are in their 3rd year, but there is scope in Mechatronics considering we can sit in placements of both the Electronics and Communication branch and the Mechanical branch, besides CS/IT branch placements are also there for us, so scope is not limited.
Infrastructure: For our branch, a new department building is being constructed and work is in progress; it will soon be completed, and we will have a newly built beautiful department building with clean classrooms, a Wi-Fi facility, and good faculty. About hostels, there are many available, and hostels are allotted on a merit basis and on a reservation basis. Although I didn't get a hostel, from what I have heard from my friends, the hostel is average; it has all the basic facilities but is not very excellent. Hostels are not bad, but they are not fantastic either.
Faculty: Teachers and faculty members are good, helpful, and knowledgeable. Teaching is good and fun, and we often enjoy our classes. The Mechatronics Engineering curriculum is also excellent; it has a nice blend of electronics and mechanical subjects, which makes learning fun. Finally, about exams: they are pretty tough; consistent practice is required; if not, there is a chance to fail the exam, but if the syllabus is consistently practiced from the start of the semester, it is easy to score good marks (CGPA). Pass percentage is also good; again, consistent study will earn good marks. Three-fourths of students generally pass exams, although problems arise in mathematics subjects.
Other: Mechatronics has a bright future ahead; many fields such as electronics, robotics, and AI will make use of mechatronics to further enhance themselves. Here, campus life is also good; seniors are friendly and helpful. The college also has many clubs for extracurricular activities of each interest.
