B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028

Helpful for the future life.
Placements: The percentage of students got placed in our course is 70%. The highest package of our college is 50 LPA and the lowest package of our college is 5 LPA. The recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, and IBM. The highest package is very rare in our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure available for your course department include Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. Facilities are very good in our college. The quality of facilities in our hostel is good, and the mess, sports, and games are very good to play.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teachers are very talented. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make the students ready to go to the industry. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 67%.
Other: This course is helpful in life.

They take care of all students like their parents.
Placements: Placements are ready for every student, depending on strengths of each student. If we want, we can hit, and if not, then we cannot. Everything depends on us, how much time we will give to studying. Nothing is impossible, as everything is possible, and every problem has a solution.
Infrastructure: I can't compare my course and hostel to someone else because there is no one to compare to.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. Exams are easy. We are getting an advanced academic calendar, which helps us with the course curriculum. Most of the faculty members are from IITs and NITs. 40 marks are in hands of the faculty, and the remaining 60 marks are for finals. All exams are easy and not challenging. This course has a good scope, and we are learning all things that I need in competitive exams in this course, like we can write GATE as the GATE subjects are covered in the 2nd semester only.

B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023
2.8

I am disappointed with the faculty, lab infrastructure, and library. I am okay with placements.
Placements: Around 75% of students got their placement in college. The highest salary package offered was 18.5 LPA, the average salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. And the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Ctrl+S, Modi Builders, Aparna, and Ashoka Builders, and software roles in Infosys, TCS, and Capgemini. The top role we can expect is a Quantity Surveyor in control datacenter.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in our college is bad. Labs are not properly equipped. Both fluid mechanics and construction material labs have functioning equipment. Classrooms are average with good ventilation. Library is also average. We won't find every book for the course. Hostel is below average, and mess food is not good. Play area is spacious for sports and games. Rooms are adequate. Air-conditioner is also provided.
Faculty: Teachers are transcript readers and don't have a proper grip on the subject. They are never able to conceptualize topics. They just translate content into students' mother tongue and pass time in class. The course is good, but the curriculum was designed long ago and no longer meets industry requirements. Exams are set at low standards since it is autonomous. Pass percentage is high, always around 70%-75%.
Other: I chose civil engineering to pursue a career in government jobs. It is a course that always offers opportunities and requires students to be industry-ready, which I think the college lacks. A better approach would be for the college to revise the curriculum according to industry requirements. Events are organised frequently, but they always charge a high entry fee.

Nice placements, supportive faculty members, and good infrastructure.
Placements: In my course, around 75-80% of students are placed on the campus drives itself. The highest package touched around 18 LPA, the lowest is about 3.5 LPA, and the average is about 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Top recruiters included companies like TCS, Accenture, and Deloitte. 60% of students secured internships with opportunities at companies such as Capgemini. The top roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and cloud engineer giving us a wide range of industry exposure. Placements are decent here.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good with Wi-Fi enabled campus and equipped digital labs and library with many reference books. Rooms are okay but sometimes maintenance is too slow. The mess food is decent with its routine. Basic medical facilities are available. For sports, we have basketball court, cricket ground, and other indoor game facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is relevant, and covers industry needs. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty, and pass percentage is around 35-50% for all batches. Extra practice for the given syllabus can add some more grade for the students. Faculty members are supportive.
Other: There are less events in this college.

Decent placements and good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students are placed through campus drives. The highest package is 7-8 LPA. The lowest salary is 2-3 LPA, and average is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters including Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and TCS. Nearly 50-60% of the students secured internships in companies like Cognizant and Capgemini. The most common roles offered are software developer, data analyst, and cloud engineer. It gives students exposure to both service-based and product-based industries.
Infrastructure: Our department has good infrastructure with Wi-Fi, computer labs, digital classrooms, and rich library. Hostel facilities are average. Mess food is okay. Medical care is available. Sports facilities like cricket, football, and indoor games are available. The mess food is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and generally qualified. The curriculum is relevant and covers industry needs through extra practice. Projects are required to be fully industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is around 50-60% for most batches.
Other: I chose this course because I liked it. They are good at upskilling, and they are better. Events are not conducted here.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) - Batch of 2027
2.8
3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty2Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Mostly disappointed with campus life.
Placements: In our branch, the placement is like 40 out of 250 placed. Many are placed in service-based companies, and the highest package is like 36 Lacs per annum, while the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum. The top roles are like developer and machine learning engineer, along with AI roles.
Infrastructure: The library is spacious but has strict timings, and I couldn't get much use out of the library. The resources are good in the library; all sorts of books are available. The hostel feels slightly more than reasonable in price, and the food and washrooms are rated 4/5.
Faculty: After the first year, you will never see your faculty holding a class; it is mostly dependent on you. Exams are conducted regularly, but the type of teaching they provide and the papers they give are completely irrelevant, and it is rated 2/5.
