MDI Gurgaon Admission 2025 (Open): Fees, Eligibility, Application Process

MDI Gurgaon considers GMAT scores for admission to PGDM programme. The institute offers admission to PGDM, PGDM-HRM and PGDM IB based on their CAT or GMAT scores. The final selection is based on performance of the candidate's in group discussion and personal interview rounds. 

Yes, Management Development Institute requires a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification executive work experience as of 31st March of the admission year for admission to Executive PGDM courses. Apart from work experience, candidates also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. MDI Gurgaon Executive PGDM admission is based on valid CAT/GMAT/XAT/ MAT scores, followed by a personal interview round.

Considering the MDI Gurgaon PGDM past cutoff trend, candidates with a CAT percentile between 93 and 95 shall have a fair chance of selection. This is an assumption and hence may vary. It must be noted that the cutoff can vary from one PGDM course to another. Moreover, the cutoff marks are announced category-wise. MDI Gurgaon offers Executive PGDM programme for 15 months to 2 year depending on the specialisation. The courses offered are PGDM-BM, PGDM-BA and PGDM-PPM. Executive PGDM is a AICTE approved and AMBA accredited programme. The programme has five terms of course work followed by a dissertation project. An academic term is of twelve weeks duration including mid-term and end-term examination.

Aspirants have to fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for admission. Candidates also need to pay an application fee to register for a course. Below are the steps to apply at MDI Gurgaon:

Step 1: Visit the official website of MDI Gurgaon.

Step 2: Register with the basic details and select the preferred course. 

Step 3: Pay the application fee and fill out all the details in the form.

Candidates must pass bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for Executive MBA at MDI Gurgaon. Candidates should have required documents to confirm their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. 

MDI provides a total number of 10 merit cum means scholarships (50% waiver of tuition fees) every year to the students pursuing two-year full-time PGDM/PGDM- HRM/PGDM-IB at MDI Gurgaon. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the scholarships at MDI Gurgaon. An amount equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee of two years will be given for the entire duration of PGDM and the scholarship is linked with his/her performance in term examinations up to term-II and thereafter Term-III, IV and V.

Yes, MDI provides a total number of 10 merit cum means scholarships (50% waiver of tuition fees) every year to the students pursuing two-year full-time PGDM/PGDM- HRM/PGDM-IB at MDI Gurgaon. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the scholarships at MDI Gurgaon. The criteria is that the annual income of the parents of the applicant should not exceed INR 8 lakh.

Going by my own experience and of others who have a similar profile as yours, you can expect a call from MDI at about 96.5 -97 percentile. A few people from my batch had received calls at a lower percentile as well but that again varies from year to year. So all in all, 97 percentile would be a safe bet.
