The candidate must have passed 10+2 with equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission.

As per the MET syllabus, the candidates will have to study Mathematics, Physics Chemistry and English. The various topics and units of the syllabus that has to be studied for the examination is released through the syllabus of MET. It is to be noted that the MET syllabus will be similar to the 12th standard qualifying examination.
