Great for a campus life, but not really great for a future career life.
Placements: The college offers placements below satisfactory for fresh B.Tech graduates at nearby companies like Infosys, UST Global, etc., with a starting salary of Rs. 20,000 to 40,000 per month. But exceptional performers could invite offers from much better companies. Last year, a B.Tech graduate from our college received a direct placement at Bosch.
Infrastructure: As a private college, the infrastructure is well-maintained. The college offers a lot of greenery, and each department has its own building (EC, mech, CS, etc). The interior is regularly cleaned by the staff. Our college also offers laboratories for various subjects, from where we can get practical knowledge.
Faculty: The staff of the college is mostly friendly with us, and they take our academics really seriously. They teach well. They regularly dictated notes and ensured each one of us would pass all the exams. Since the curriculum for computer science is common for all colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). It is difficult as expected for an engineering course, but not as difficult as compared to other branches.
Other: I chose computer science mainly because it offers the highest scope out of all branches and also I had a long interest in programming. I wish I could learn a lot about programming itself, getting a practical idea of it so that I could be a professional coder. The college hosts certain events, but they are typically small, and mostly related to academics or sports. But big co-curricular annual events are rare since the college takes academics seriously and avoids conducting these events, citing the upcoming ones. Semester exams as an excuse.

I am satisfied with my college as it has good facilities with moderate fee.
Placements: Around 70 to 80 percent of students were placed. Companies like Infosys Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) UST Global Federal Bank 6D Technologies H&R Block Nissan Quest Global have the highest Package. The highest salary package offered was around 1,00,000 per month. The average salary package ranges between 5 to 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was approximately 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is ok, library is very good, smart classrooms, good lab. Accommodation: Separate hostels for men and women are provided, each equipped with spacious rooms designed to house three students per room. Amenities: Hostels offer 24-hour Wi-Fi connectivity and are managed by dedicated wardens to ensure a conducive living environment.
Faculty: Teachers are experienced from Kerala University. The difficult level of semester exams is considered moderate, with faculty providing guidance to help students perform well. The curriculum is designed to be relevant and industry-oriented, preparing students to be job-ready upon graduation.
Other: I chose this branch due to good placement opportunities in companies like Infosys, TCS, UST Global, and Nissan. Courses like Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) and Electronics & Communication (ECE) have an updated curriculum aligned with industry trends.

The college has got the best infrastructure and quite good facilities.
Placements: In our college, more than 75% of students placed. The highest salary package offered was 11 LPA and the average salary package offered was 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top companies recruiting are Infosys, IBM, BYJU'S, TCS, UST Global, Wipro, IBS, etc. The campus is NBA accredited. Almost 70% of students got internships at Infosys and UST Global in this course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on campus and good connectivity is available. Air-conditioning labs are also provided. The library has all types of books including the ones that cover our syllabus. The food available in the canteen is of decent quality. A cafeteria is also provided for snacks.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite knowledgeable and friendly. They clear our doubts according to your level of satisfaction. Except for a few, most of the teachers at our college are excellent. The course curriculum is average. Semester exams are quite difficult for the KTU. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: This course is currently experiencing rapid growth in the community. Technologies are increasing day by day. So this is a good course to study.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty, infrastructure and placements.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed in our course last year. The highest salary package is 10 LPA, the average salary package is 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are In-app, Infosys, UST Global, and TCS. Around 30% of students got internships in Infosys and UST Global. The top roles offered are Software Developer, and Software Engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Most of the buildings were constructed in 2000. Labs and classrooms are arranged in a favorable way for students to study. College Wi-Fi has decent connectivity. Every department has its library which ensures maximum resources for students. Extracurricular activities like sports and games are active. Our football team is well known in Trivandrum. The canteen has decent food. A college doctor is assigned to handle emergencies.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified to teach, helpful, and quite knowledgeable. Their lectures are quite interesting but the faculty members are different in their way. The course curriculum is relevant and makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are a normal difficulty. The pass percentage is 50%.

I am satisfied because of good college environment and good placements in the previous years.
Placements: About 35-40% of students are placed in IT companies in our course. The lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA, the highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Inapp, and UST Global. About 70% of students got internships in Infosys and UST Global in our course. Top roles offered in our course are software developer and software engineer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facilities are available on campus and the connectivity is good. Classrooms are neat and tidy. The tables are quite comfortable to sit on. Library has all kinds of books including books that cover our syllabus. Food available in the mess and canteen is good. Medical restroom is decent. Our college has one of the best football teams in Trivandrum.
Faculty: The teachers giving lectures in our college are mostly professors. They were qualified enough to give good lectures. They are quite knowledgeable and friendly. They clear our doubts according to our level of satisfaction. The course curriculum is average. It makes students industry-ready after a few coaching classes. Semester exams in this college are quite difficult. The pass percentage is 50% of the total semester marks.

Absolutely a perfect choice with good faculty members, more chance of placements etc.
Placements: Marian college has a great name when it comes to placements. Almost all the students having decent GPA have been placed with the lowest package 3 LPA and the highest is around 10 LPA. Majority of CSE students and more than 40-50% of students from other batches were placed. The top recruiters are Infosys (have MOU), TCS and Inapp etc. Top role offered was of SDE.
Infrastructure: Marian College has a great campus with each building for each Department and well provided labs and library. CS department has more than 5 labs. Wi-Fi is available. Classrooms are also good. Hostel facility is available and the food provided is also best. There is a canteen and a good cafeteria for the college where the is also good. A football ground, basketball court and a volleyball court are also available.
Faculty: Faculty is good and friendly. They are well qualified (have required degree and experience) and they teach very well also. The college comes under KTU University and the syllabus is covered properly. Two internal exams and a University exam are conducted. More than 80-90% of the students pass without backlogs.
Other: College provides scholarship based on KEAM rank. The fest here is really good and is known as Tejasvi. The best thing about this college is they provide best and more than enough opportunities for everyone according to their interests. The IEDC (Innovation and Development Club) supports innovators and help to startup. Also bus service to every corner of the city is also available.

The college has good infrastructure and placement cell.
Placements: More than 50% of students of our college were placed in well-known companies. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. The average salary package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiters for the last 2 years were Infosys, TCS, Quest Global, In-app, etc. Around 10-20% of students got internships. The top role offered is a software engineer. The Marian placement cell brings a handful of opportunities for students for both placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The campus is very good with many facilities. Each department has its own building and the computer science block is known as St. Jospeh's block. Four computer labs with internet connection are available for computer science students. A library has every book needed by the students. Wi-Fi is available for students too. There is a canteen and a cafeteria inside the campus. There are two hostels each for boys and girls and the food provided is good. A huge football ground, basketball court, volleyball court are present on campus.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable in every subject and are very helpful in academics. They make sure everyone understands the topics covered in the class because of which the teaching quality is very good. The KTU curriculum is very relevant for the current time. The workshops and teaching make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of average difficulty and the pass percentage is around 85-95%.
Other: The college offers scholarships based on variuos meritorious criteria. There are different clubs in the college which are very useful and helpful for students for pursuing their other interests like IEDC (Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell) and GDSC (Google Developers Students Club).

Very less Activities, Mostly studies.
Placements: Some companies come here yearly to recruit freshers. They have collections with Infosys which enables them to get the company to come to the college yearly for recruitment. The average salary offered by companies is around ?30000. There has been also times where some companies offered upto 1 Lacs for certain posts. Only starter roles are offered here and most of the students apply for them. But a large number of students get declined. Last year about 90-100 students got jobs in various companies. It includes salaries of ?30000 per month to jobs of ?4000 per month. The college offers help in getting placements but there are no internship programs. It has to be attended by the student outside.
Infrastructure: This college has good infrastructure. It has completely working labs and classrooms with projector facility. There is no college Wi-Fi and mobile phones are not allowed to be used inside the campus. The library is also good. The college is very weak in the area of sports and on some years they don't even conduct a proper sports meet.
Faculty: There are some teachers with great knowledge and efficiency in teaching. But many are newly recruited staff which reduced the efficiency of teaching. Some teachers are helpful and some others are not. Many are wise, many are not and many act like wise even when they aren't. The student to faculty ratio is 55:1. Industry exposure is poor.
Other: Events are conducted rarely here. This college is said to focus mainly on studies and still it does not have a good pass percentage after the introduction of Kerala Technological University. Campus has lots of students but it has a lot of space also. It has a big ground and many areas to rest. Many scholarships are also available. Come here only if you are not into enjoying college life. Here only studying is encouraged.
