Life at Marian Engineering College.
Placements: The placements here are quite good, we have a placement cell that trains the students for their placement, and also conducts mock interviews etc and prepares the students for their career journey really well. Companies like TCS, UST etc. visit our college for recruitment.
Infrastructure: The hostel here at Marian is good, it has a beautiful ambience and good facilities but the food isn't that great, Monthly fee is 5800 including all kinds of bills, the curfew time is 6:30 you won't be allowed to enter the hostel after a second after 6:30 pm.
Faculty: The faculty members are nice and strict they help you and provide you with everything required, they are very much dedicated to their work and always willing to tell us more, they are strict and friendly depending on the situation. They explain everything well and we can definitely rely on them.
Other: The course I have chosen was only available in 3 colleges at that time and Marian was one among them and also a good college that's why I came here and I wanted to pursue B.Tech in electronics and computer engineering, the course consists of hard papers and core papers of both electronics and computer engineering and sometimes there might be a little change too, we have opportunities in both fields, IT software and hardware electronics field.

It is a great college to take admission in.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Infosys, IBM, UST, etc. Around 80% of students get internships in this course at UST, etc.
Infrastructure: Lab facilities are good. Wi-Fi, a canteen, and medical facilities are available. Our college organises an annual sports meet and game schedule. Hostel facilities are good and the food served is the same as homemade food.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult. The course curriculum is relevant. The pass percentage is 85%. Mentors assist students very well.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it since my childhood. There are many advantages in this course in getting jobs. Campus crowd is good. Scholarships are provided to students. It is a very good college. I'm satisfied with the ambiance of our college.

It is a good technical Institute. It provides quality education.
Placements: Companies like TCS, Infosys, 6D Technologies, Federal bank, H&R, Nissan, Quest Global, Guidehouse, etc., visit our college. More than 50% of students got placed in our college. Companies offer a salary package of 2.5 LPA - 7 LPA. More than 60% of students got internships in the field of electronics.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi in each department which is always active. All classrooms are smart classrooms. Our college has a central library and a departmental library. We can borrow the latest textbooks from the library. The food served in the hostel is above average. Our college has a cafeteria which provides a variety of dishes.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified. They always encourage us and clear our doubts. The course curriculum is according to the latest technology. Our college includes the latest courses. Semester exams are above average. They are difficult to pass. The pass percentage is above average.

It is an embracing campus with a good start for freshers.
Placements: Many companies visit each year to campus to recruit talented students and give them an opportunity to embrace themselves. More than 80% of students from our course got placed. The college has a placement Unit that guides them. Students of all branches are advised and prepared for their placements.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are neat and clean in our college. Labs are well-organised, and they are managed by specific lab attendees. Students are encouraged well into sports and arts. There is a basketball court, a football ground, and a cricket ground. The canteen provides hygiene food at a low cost, which is very much affordable for students. The campus has a Wi-Fi facility, which can be accessed with the permission of staff members if needed.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. They provide good assistance to the students and help them to study their topics easily. The syllabus is quite moderately tough, but the teaching methods of teachers make the topics easier for the students. The pass percentage is 45% to be eligible for the end semester exams and also to clear it.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in electronics and there is also furthermore to expand my knowledge about it. I would like to learn more technically, but the syllabus does not provide much. Many arts and sports festivals are conducted on the campus to entertain the students and get them a relief off from their studies. The campus is beautiful and well-maintained.

Review of Marian Engineering College.
Placements: Many companies are invited on the campus by the placement cell, and it offers students a very good opportunity. Our college offers courses like ECE, EEE, mechanical and civil. More than 75% of students get placed every year. Many MNCs like Infosys, IBM, Cisco, InApp, etc., visit our college for placements every year.
Infrastructure: All the facilities are available here. Labs are occupied with all the needed equipment. The food served is good in the canteen. The canteen provides lunch and snacks which are very hygenic and much tasty. The hostel is well-maintained, and students are most likely to stay.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are knowledgeable, and they teach very well. The syllabus is somewhat tough, but the teachers manage to make it in an easy way. All the teachers engage at the right time for each period. Even if a teacher is absent, then another teacher might come to teach us. They all are encouraging.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my passion for electronics, and it has various job scopes. I would like to get into a good job after my studies.

Mere satisfaction of "College life.
Placements: There were about 3 companies that came in for hiring. All 3 were from the IT field. None bothered to bring in core companies related to our stream. However, the students eligible were promptly selected and placed in the 3 companies that came in. Also, students with mere backlogs were not given any consideration by the placement cell even though there were firms that were ready to hire them from a nearby technopark.
Infrastructure: Anything apart from studies is merely entertained by the college administration. During the days of my batch, things were a tad bit odd. Cultural activities were however conducted for the sake of strikes that we students had organised. Classrooms, toilets, conference halls, library were all up to date and excellent as well. College buses flee to almost all parts of the city and there is hostel accommodation within college premises for both boys and girls.
Faculty: All the faculty members that were present during the ongoing of my batch were highly capable in getting the pupil going. There was no agenda kept as a teacher student relationship. We were free to ask doubts at any point of a class. There were bimonthly exams held to refresh the students which was a great help to every student. Also, internal marks were pro. Ptly given to students who were keen enough to complete the tasks given by a faculty for a subject.
Other: The campus is located in the outskirts of the city, away from the hush. However, the place is currently a growing techno town and the place is getting a tad bit busy as I have heard. The campus as a whole is a lively place with many buildings, a garden area, a big auditorium, a football and basketball court.

Other: The college has a strict campus and faculty. Though it is not enjoyable, it is academically strong.
Placement facilities are also available in the college. Students can achieve good results in the university exams.
Separate hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys inside the campus itself. There are three internal exams in each semester.

Other: Marian is a great college in terms of academics. The faculty is always willing to help, clears all our doubts and will even help you through phone before exams. The bad thing about the college is that there are very few or no interest based student clubs and the students are brought up in a very strict atmosphere which is a negative in today's scenario.
