A college with a good learning atmosphere and a great place to thrive.
Placements: Overall, 90% of students got placed in our college this year. The highest salary package offered this year is 10 LPA. Most of the placements were from TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. Students got placed in roles like software engineer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college offers good infrastructure. Our classrooms have projectors. The library is spacious and Wi-Fi enabled. There is a vast collection of books in the college library. There are also separate department-level libraries. Hostel facilities are just satisfactory. The quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is great. Medical facilities are just okay. The college also encourages sports and games.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful. Most of the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. Everyone is enthusiastic. The teaching quality is good. Our course follows the KTU curriculum and syllabus. Semester exams are manageable and can be tackled with proper preparation. The pass percentage of our course is 75%.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in computer science. Our course is a specialisation in data science and therefore is much more industry relevant than computer science. The college offers events like an art fest named Sanskriti and a tech fest named Takshak.

Our college provided excellent placements in the previous year.
Placements: In the previous years, placement drives offered meritorious students two jobs. Almost 75% of students got placed in the previous year. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies like IBM, Cognizant, Rolls-Royce, etc., visit our campus.
Infrastructure: Our labs are well-equipped. The computer department has 4 to 5 labs. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus and hostels. Classrooms are well equipped with good ventilation, projectors, whiteboards, laptop charging ports, etc. The college has a separate hostel. Hostels are well equipped. The quality of the food is good. Medical facilities are available. The cricket team is well known, and the college gives high importance to sports.
Faculty: All teachers are M. Tech. and Ph.D. holders from IITs, NITs, or similar prestigious institutes. The teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 55%.
Other: Data science is a field of immense scope. This is a government-aided institution founded in 1961. Our college organises two main events such as Takshak (an annual tech fest) and Sanskriti (an annual cultural fest). The campus is clean and plastic-free. The ambiance is so good and refreshing. There is no ragging in our college.

In all the aspects it's a good one.
Placements: Actually I am a first year student in computer Science engineering (Data Science), our batch is the first batch ever in this new course. I am going to say about computer Science department. This year majority of students who applied for placement were placed in different companies. Just one or two is ejected because of low performance. The highest Package for this year is 33 something LPA in an US company but it is turn own offer, And mainly in the range of 20 to 30 CTC. The lowest is 2.6 CTC. Cognizent and TCS were the top recruiting companies. Infosys, soti, key value also include in this category. Top roles where software engineering, testers etc. And considering the college around 400+ student were placed in this year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college Is amazing. There is a Separate Fab Lab, IOT lab, MC card lab, Mechanical design lab, Transportation lab, Computer Lab, Analogue lab, Digital lab, Micro controller lab, Antenna and, radio propagation lab, Electrical lab, Hydrolic lab, Concrete lab, Survey lab, carpentry, Lathe, Welding lab, Thermal labs were there. Also canteen named uttupura, NSS park Open Air theatre, swimming pool, a large ground, gym, football and basketball court, two floor centralised library is there and also separate building for each department. There is 4GB per weak Wi-Fi provided for each student in there respective id.
Faculty: Ya, Majority of them are qualified teachers and there were Ph.D. honors from NITs and IITs. The teaching style and skill is different from person to person, Still most of them are good and much understandable. Sem exam and course curriculum are purely based on KTU calendar. For first I guess exam is not much difficult and purely based on syllabus.
Other: I choose this course purely because the best course I got based on my mark in KEAM exam. And we get a data Science course more than just computer Science. There where so many events like arts fest named sanskriti, tech fest named Thakshak, mun, diwat etc. Were conducted. And many programs were conducted under the clubs like Club
Nss, Sparsham, IoT, Ieee, Sae, Iste, Natureclub, Space club, Dance, Fashion, Literature, Music, Debate, Netx, Mozilla club, Google, developers club, Unai (United Nations academic impact) were conducted. Ya we get all the scholarship provided from central, state government and private authorities given to engineers like MCM, Egrant, Moulana Asad scholarship etc.

It is a good college, with good teachers and placements.
Placements: Data science is a new course introduced this year in our college. So, I cannot say about its placements. But data science comes under computer science department. About 95% of students in computer science department got placed in various companies from our college. So, good placement opportunities are expected for data science too. The average salary package was 3 LPA, and the highest salary package was 10 LPA last year in computer science department. There is a training and placement cell in our college for improving placement opportunities and train students. Around 400 companies visited our college for recruiting last year.
Infrastructure: The campus is Wi-Fi enabled with good speed and limited to 4 GB per week. There is a central library as well as a department library. The computer science department has good lab facilities, and it includes a database and multimedia lab, computer hardware lab, network systems lab, research and project lab. The college hostel facilities are available but from the second year only. Many private hostels are available, and the first year students can use this facility. The college has a swimming pool, cricket ground, football court, volleyball court, and an open-air theatre. A canteen is available, and it provides good food.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, and they have good knowledge of their subjects. Most of the teachers have completed their PhDs and are experienced. The teachers are very helpful. The complete syllabus of this course is not released by KTU yet. Up to the 5th semester, the syllabus of this course is the same as that of computer science.
Other: I chose course because data science and machine learning have very good opportunities in future, and I am really interested in this field. An annual tech fest called Thakshak and a cultural fest called Sanskriti are the most important events conducted in the college. There are many clubs in our college, and students can join and improve their extracurricular skills and build good connectivity with people.

A notable college in Kothamangalam, Kerala.
Placements: My class has a total of 53 students out of 60 seats. Since ours is the starting batch, we have not come across the salary packages offered. The top recruiting companies include BYJU's, Infosys, Tata and a lot other. Although there are not many placements here, the college offers a pretty good valued certificate.
Infrastructure: The college is well built. It is one of the oldest colleges in Kerala. It was built in 1960. The mess offers a wide variety of food and is one of the favourite hang out spots for a lot of students. The hostel offers minimum guaranteed facilities. There are not many complaints about the atmosphere. It is a really good place, though. It offers games like table tennis and badminton within the hostel itself. The college provides Wi-Fi for every student. There are pretty modern labs and helpful staff to guide the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent. Many teachers tend to hold their own spot in the students' heart. That's how passionate and friendly they are. Even in the online scenario, they have done their work really well, and the students are pretty satisfied with them.
Other: Data science and data manipulation are some of the future job-seeking courses. There is nothing to be improved. It is a really good future-oriented course. There are a lot of cultural and educational events on this campus. The presence of various clubs, including IEEE, is a really good venture. Events like Takshak, NetX, and Certed show their presence in this college.

It is a good college with great facilities and placements.
Placements: As data science is the newly introduced branch and ours is the first batch, the placement possibilities of this branch cannot be explained. But this branch comes under the computer science engineering department, so we can expect many placements. With every engineering college, the placements in the computer science department are high. Not only in the computer science department but also other departments in our college have good placements. We can expect an average salary package of 3 LPA, and I think the highest salary package was around 10 LPA. Almost 90% of students studying in the computer science department get placed every year. There can be some small fluctuations in this percentage but still the placement percentage is very high compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: The only problem here is that it's hard to get a college hostel for the first years as the seats are limited. But there is no issue with that because there are plenty of private hostels and also rooms available. I heard from my friends that the food and everything in the college hostel are good. The college has a basketball court, volleyball court, indoor stadium, swimming ball etc. Even there is a huge and peaceful central library, and it is very useful for students to study. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, but it is limited to 4 GB per week and preferably good speed. There are also several clubs for students to showcase and nourish their talents. There is a good and hygienic college canteen, and the food here is very good. Compared to many other colleges, this college has got several good facilities available for students.
Faculty: The syllabus of our course is not yet released by the university. But the faculty members here are very good. Most of the teachers teaching here are highly qualified. Their way of teaching is very good. Most of the teachers are very friendly with the students.
Other: I have taken this course because I have heard that there will be great opportunities for this course, like data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc., in the future. The tech and art fests called Takshak and Sanskriti conducted here are famous among the other colleges. These are the things every student dreams of.

It's one of the top 5 colleges in Kerala, and it stands up to its reputation.
Placements: I can't say about placements in my batch because data science is a new branch, started in 2020. Ours is the first batch to enroll in this course. Other branches have more than 60% of placements in various companies. Last year, the highest package offered was around 8-10 LPA, and the average package was 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The campus has a lot of facilities that you don't see in many KTU engineering colleges. The campus has a swimming pool, basketball court, volleyball court, indoor stadium, football court and a large cricket and marathon field. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and it is limited to 4 GB per week at a reasonable speed to all the students. The labs and equipment are good. The computer lab is refurbished and well-equipped. We even have a large central library and a digital library too. I personally take my laptop there and do all my assignments. To be honest, it's hard for first-years to get a seat in the on-campus hostel because there are only barely 40 seats for boys and about 100 seats for girls. My friends and I took a room for rent outside the campus as it was a much better option than the private hostels, which charge a bit more. But this issue is only for the first years, and after that, there are no issues with getting into the campus hostel as there are plenty of seats. They even constructed a new building this year (2021) for second-years, and that has a lot of facilities equivalent to a well booked flat. Food is really good in all the campus hostels so far. The campus has a wide range of clubs for you to take part in, from arts to tech clubs, you name it, the college has it.
Faculty: The faculty members in our college are highly qualified, and they have good knowledge of the subjects they teach. Since data science is the course I chose, I am yet to find out the syllabus and the course structure as the KTU board has not published it yet. But overall, the teachers and staff are very good.
Other: The tech and art fests conducted here are top-notch and something you should never miss. There are a lot of tech fests held every year. Different clubs and communities are available in the college.

Satisfied with the campus infrastructure and students. Faculty is alright, and the college is.
Placements: In the year 2024, MACE has placed 284 undergraduates with an average placement of 3.9 LPA, which is, in my opinion, a remarkable achievement considering the vast number of B.Tech degrees present now. The main recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Bosch, and others. Our college also provides separate training for 4th year students and has a placement cell in itself, which gives the students the required motivation and knowledge needed to get placements.
Infrastructure: The campus is kept clean at all times and has a wonderful ambience to it. The classrooms are clean and have all the necessary items. The library has a peaceful vibe to it, making it perfect for studying. The hostels are very good, with good food, a cooler, and a washing machine.
Faculty: Curriculum seems up-to-date. My course in Data Science, being one of the growing branches these days, I believe, is good. Most teachers try their best to convey their knowledge to us. Although some teachers lag, overall, it is good. The canteen food has room for improvement, but it is adjustable.
