Average teaching facility, limited campus space, and good infrastructure and amenities.
Placements: Percentage of students placed in the course is approximately 90. The highest package offered is 10 LPA. The average package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Infosys, Tata Elxsi, and Dell. Top roles offered include software development, front-end, and back-end development.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-maintained and air-conditioned labs. The classrooms are adequately large. The washrooms are average but can be improved. The college provides a huge library where there's adequate space for students to sit and study. The mess facility is average. There's an outdoor basketball court.
Faculty: The teaching quality is average. Some teachers are enthusiastic and help us in understanding the concepts. Most teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The semester exams are of medium level and the pass percentage is 40. Students need to go beyond the curriculum to be fully ready for industry life and jobs. The curriculum is a bit outdated.
Other: The course I have chosen has the best placement offers, and there's a vast opportunity in this field.

SCT is good college who aims to be practically fit!
Placements: Good placement cell with more in computer Science engineering. Many multinational companies come for recruitment and internships. This college has a supportive placement cell, and many alumni help us by referring to the companies they work for. Good college with many placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: There is limited building infrastructure and canteen, and there is no hostel in the college, but there are many hostels nearby our college. The college is well-equipped with lab facilities, and all the students can access the lab after class hours and on Saturdays also.
Faculty: The teachers are supportive, and their notes are sufficient for passing the KTU examinations. There are two series examinations in each semester, and they decide our internal marks. The whole syllabus is strictly followed based on course outcomes, which helps us to be more practical.
Other: Overall, the college is good. I chose CSE out of passion. The college infrastructure can be improved more.

College vibe is very good. Fests and programs conducted are really fun.
Placements: The placement is very good. Around 30 to 40 companies visit every year and CGPU is very helpful in conducting events and seminars for coding and technical interviews. Some of the companies that visited are TCS, IBM, EY, Bosch, Federal Bank, Oracle, etc. Overall, placements in the college are good.
Infrastructure: The college is somewhat small. It has a very big library that contains all the necessary books. College has one of the best labs, mostly focused on research. Many funded projects are under the college. Classrooms are good.
Faculty: Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering is under KTU. Exams are moderate. Teachers are very helpful and supportive. One can ask any academic-related doubts to the teachers and they will clarify them. Teaching quality is good.

Joining SCTCE is one of the greatest decisions.
Placements: Placements are satisfactory. Normal mass recruiter companies generally hire. Product-based companies will also be visiting. Career guidance and placement unit in the college will help train for placements and assist in getting more companies involved in the placements process.
Infrastructure: We have good computer science labs are good and high-performance computers are available. But, the campus area is too small. There is no playground, only basketball and badminton courts are available. There are no campus hostels, but there are many private hostels nearby that are college-approved.
Faculty: All faculty members are good and complete the topics before the exams. Exams are conducted according to the KTU schedule which is pretty hectic, leaving no time for anything other than studies. But, the examination patterns are simple.

Review of Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering.
Placements: I am a first-year student at this college. I heard that placements this year are not that great, but it's just because of the declining trends of job offers in the market. According to the college, placements in the past years were very good. They are hoping for the huge decline in the market to be gone soon.
Infrastructure: We have great classrooms with projectors and proper working fans and lights. They are clean. We have clean washrooms. There is a regular supply of drinking water on each floor. Good availability of equipment is available in labs. There are proper working computers in computer labs. An air conditioner is available in every class. The food available in the canteen is not bad compared to the price. There is a mini canteen where we can get quick snacks and drinks, but some might say their retail price is a bit costly.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful as much as they can. The teaching quality is not very bad. The content may be hard to understand, but revisions can help. The curriculum is almost relevant according to the job opportunities of the future. The new KTU syllabus offers very friendly topics for CS engineering.
Other: I chose computer science because of my passion for it. I like working with computers and from this course, I can learn multiple computer languages. Events of this college are very nice. Most celebrities visit the college for events. They are held after classes till 7 PM. Other events like workshops are proper and good.
