The college has average infrastructure but good academics.
Placements: The placements in the college are above average. Students get placements at an average salary of 4LPA. There is a placement and internship cell which provides students the internship and job opportunities. The college also provides various competitions and programs where the students can participate and earn Certificate which prove to be very useful for the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The classrooms are not air conditions, there is just one lift for the students. Even the classes are not very well maintained. They have a sports ground which is average with average instructors. The college has a canteen which is good and provides a variety of food for the students.
Faculty: The teachers are super helpful and qualified. They take part in interactive sessions with the students which interests the students to reach at a mark in their lives. The course curriculum is very helpful for the students for their future and helps in effective placements. The exams in the college have an average difficult level so that normal students can also qualify.

Good for studying, but campus, fests, and placements disappoint.
Placements: Honesty, Mata Sundri isn't the place if you're expecting high-paying corporate jobs. Placements exist but are limited, mostly entry-level roles like customer support or content writing, with average packages around β‚Ή3-β‚Ή4 LPA. The placement cell, "Prayas," tries, but support is hit or miss. Internships are offered, but quality varies. For me, the college is great for academics and campus life, but don't count on it for big placements.
Infrastructure: Mata Sundri's infrastructure is functional but far from impressive. Classrooms are cramped and outdated, washrooms often poorly maintained, and common areas feel neglected. Labs and library are okay, but sports facilities are basic. Cafeteria gets chaotic during peak hours, and Wi-Fi is slow and unreliable. The campus works if your focus is academics, but don't expect comfort, luxury, or modern facilities. It's fine for studying, not for enjoying top-notch infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty are helpful and engaging, others outdated and disengaged. The curriculum is standard DU, solid for theory but rarely practical or skill-oriented. Exams focus more on rote learning than understanding, so consistent studying helps, but real application is minimal. Overall, academics are decent but not exceptional, and you'll often have to push yourself to gain practical knowledge or industry-ready skills.
Other: I wanted a solid DU degree in a women-centric college. Best things about your course: Academics are decent, some teachers are helpful, and the campus has a good vibe. Things you wish would improve: Classrooms are old, practical exposure is limited, and exams focus too much on rote learning. Other aspects: Campus life is average. Fests mostly exist in name only, the crowd is friendly, Wi-Fi and connectivity could be better, infrastructure is basic, and extracurricular activities happen but are limited.

Not satisfied with the staff behavior and faculty, but the placement cell works pretty well.
Placements: The placement cell of Mata Sundri College provides various placement opportunities to students, but it solely depends on their skills for what they get. Skills are very important for every student. The highest CTC for the academic year 2022-2023 stood at 6.6 LPA offered by JARO Education, and the students bagged an average package of 4 LPA, with the total number of students placed standing at 129. The highest stipend-based internship was secured by students at PhysicsWallah, and more than 500 students have been selected this year. So, overall, this has been a good year for students. Companies such as Zomato, Wipro, Concentrix, and Tech Mahindra have recruited students from the college.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is below average. Although it has enough space for classrooms, they are not properly arranged. The labs are maintained pretty well. Being a computer science student, I study in the labs most of the time. But the classrooms are not that comfortable; the chairs are not maintained and arranged. If I talk about the washrooms, they too are below average. They are clean, but there aren't enough facilities and maintenance. The library is pretty fine for the girls to study quietly.
Faculty: The faculty of our college is good and well-educated. They have mastered their fields. But there's a lack of communication between teachers and students. I feel like there's a lot of difference, especially in my department, and students hesitate to talk to the teachers. The course curriculum is relevant, but there's a lack of syllabus completion due to the lack of the number of lectures. There's no consistency. The semester exams are pretty fine according to me, and the pass percentage is also more than 80 percent. Overall, the syllabus is fine, but there's a lot of improvement required in the staff.
Other: The campus crowd is fine, but there's no fun in this college. The campus is really small, and there's no garden or anything. The canteen is also very crowded, and it's not worth having food there.

There were average placements in 2024.
Placements: Nearly 1/4th of the students are placed. The highest was 7 LPA. 20% of the students got internships in NGOs, telecommunication, and telesales-based companies. The placement cell works well and helps students to get internships, but generally, the internships in this college offer below 5 thousand as a stipend.
Infrastructure: Nearly 1/4th of the students are placed. The highest was 7 LPA. 20% of the students got internships in NGOs, telecommunication, and telesales-based companies. The placement cell works well and helps students to get internships, but generally, the internships in this college offer below 5 thousand as a stipend.
Faculty: Teachers are generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. In my case, I had the privilege to learn from some of the finest, skilled teachers who shaped my personality 360 degrees. Most of my classes scored well just by attending their lectures. The semester exams are easy enough to get good marks just by studying for 2 days. The pass percentage is more than the 60th percentile.
Other: I felt that the fests in this college are boring compared to those in other colleges. Extracurricular activities like NCC and NSS of this college are the best in shaping your personality 360 degrees. They are not only engaging, exciting, and entertaining but also adopt sustainable development practices and make people aware of the same, which I found great.

My college journey in MSCW
Placements: I'm a part of the B.A. Political Science + Hindi course at Mata Sundri College. There aren't many placement solutions in this course, and approximately 20-30% of students were placed. The highest package was approximately β‚Ή4-5 LPA, the lowest around β‚Ή2 LPA, and the average was close to β‚Ή2.5-3 LPA. The main recruiters were NGOs, companies in the education space, content writing companies, and a few internships related to government affairs. Approximately 50-60% of students secured internships in fields like social work, teaching, research, and digital content.
Infrastructure: Mata Sundri College provides quality basic facilities. Classrooms are clean, Wi-Fi is available, and the library is stocked. A prominent feature on campus is the spacious auditorium where major events are held. Unfortunately, there are limited hostel facilities, but at least the canteen food is passable. There is medical help on campus. Sports activities exist, but facilities could be better.
Faculty: Teachers were mostly helpful, qualified, and had a good knowledge of the subject. A couple were really helpful and made things easier to learn, but there were a few who showed bias, which at times did not feel fair. Overall, the quality of the teaching was acceptable, but it was all teacher-dependent. The course is somewhat relevant and gives a good understanding of the basics. The semester examinations are not too difficult if you have been attending classes and studying as instructed. You can tell the majority of the questions are based on the material provided in class.
Other: I am pursuing the B.A. (Political Science + Hindi) course at Mata Sundri College. I chose this course because I am interested in society, politics, and languages. The subjects are interesting, and most teachers are helpful. I wish they had more workshops and practical exposure. The college is well-connected, the crowd is friendly, and the events and fests are a lot of fun. Overall, the experience is nice. The college is well-located and accessible by metro. The crowd is friendly, and it feels safe and welcoming.

College of Delhi University.
Placements: Companies like Blue Leaves, Wipro, etc., visit our college to hire students for placements and internships. Our college does not provide good placement opportunities. On campus, placements are very few. We don't get any information about ongoing placements. Teachers are also not so supportive of this thing. We have to manage it by over self.
Infrastructure: Our college provides many facilities like Wi-Fi, library, gym, Gurudwara, canteen, labs, etc. Classrooms are non-air-conditioned. According to the fee, they don't have much better classrooms. Sometimes, we feel suffocated in class. College Wi-Fi is something we never get, and it's a disadvantage.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and knowledgeable and prefer practical teaching methods to make sure that each and every student is able to understand the concepts and apply them. They take leave at the last moment when the students already reached the college. Students don't get any knowledge from college studies.
Other: I chose this course as my first priority. I am not satisfied with the faculty and the events organized by our college.
