My college experience at Mata Sundri College.

Placements: I completed my degree with a B.A. (Hons) in History with Music at Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi. In our batch, around 20-30% of students got placed through campus and other drives. The highest package was around 6 LPA, the lowest was 2.5 LPA, and the average package was around 3.5-4 LPA. The top recruiters were mostly Wipro, TCS, Vedantu, Teach for India, and Times Internet. Around 40-50% of students also got internships with organizations, such as CRY, Goonj, Internshala, and various museums and music studios.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college was quite good. The main thing it was famous for was its well-maintained auditorium, where all events and important programs were held. Wi-Fi connectivity was also average, and the library was the best place. My college did not have hostel facilities at the time, but they might have started offering hostel services now.

Faculty: Some teachers were very good and supportive, while others had the opposite personality. As my college was a minority college, it used to show partiality based on minority status. The exams conducted at the college were well-maintained and managed perfectly. Some teachers were very rude to me, and I will never forget that.

Other: I always wanted to pursue history for higher studies, but the problem was that I didn’t get the honors option, so I opted for music with history to fulfill my wish to study history. I came to learn many new things in music, as it was not my cup of tea. In the beginning, it was hard for me, but slowly I improved a lot. Events and fests were best conducted in my college. My college also had a gurudwara.
