Ramjas College DU review.
Placements: Generally, no one gets placed in my course which is B.A. program (political major and history minor) because of lack of skill based learning. The B.A. program course doesn't offer any placement so it only prepares students for competitive exams. They get jobs through these exams in sectors like teaching, defense, trading, finance, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only provided in the library. Ramjas College has two two-floor library which is fully air-conditioned and well-organized. Labs and classrooms are well furnished and organised but have no air conditioning. Hostel is good and the food is excellent. Ramjas College supports sports and games on the campus. We have 2 volleyball court, 1 basketball court, one football ground, and a table tennis.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, supportive, well-qualified, and have knowledge in all domains. B.A. program course curriculum is very helpful in government competitive exams. Semester exams are generally easy, and students can pass by studying for 10 to 15 days before the exams. 45% is the passing criteria in the semester exams.
Other: My course is B.A. program (political major and history minor). I chose this course because I have an interest in the UPSC and state PCS so this course helps me in my competitive exams. Ramjas College has above average crowd. It has very good connectivity to the metro and railway station. We have green campus and provide scholarships for further study. It also promoted extracurricular activities, but not good events in college.

Faculty building look mesmerizing in rainy season. Good infrastructure and surroundings are great.
Placements: Bachelor of Arts B.A. is a very unique course in our college. You can find many combinations to study whatever subjects you want. As for packages, I don’t study a combination of subjects that provides an internship, but other subject combinations may offer it.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is in good condition, and I would rate it 4 stars. As for the hostel, I would suggest not getting your hopes up, as it’s not that good. You’ll face many problems there, except that you can go to college without worrying about being late.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified and extremely knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent here. The semester exams are not that difficult, just don’t waste your time and solve PYQs. Approximately 40% is the passing criterion for each semester in the first year.
Other: I have researched for hours and found this course to my liking. This course is unique, you get the chance to study a specific major subject, or you can chose your major and minor according to your preference. Events, fests, and other functions are just outstanding, you’ll enjoy them a lot. The crowd at my college is great, and the campus is full of greenery. Extracurricular activities are also available, along with scholarships.

Placement in our college for some courses is average.
Placements: About 15-20% of students enrolled in our batch, and a good package is not offered. There are no top recruiting companies for our course; about 1% are getting internships from it. The average package is about 7-8 lakhs per annum offered by the college in Delhi. Top recruiters include D. E. Shaw, EY, Byju's, and Philips.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of our college are good, but we have an issue with Wi-Fi; there is only one Wi-Fi connection on campus, located in the library. We have a good hostel with proper facilities, including a gym and a mess with quality food. Yes, we also have medical facilities as well as sports and game facilities.
Faculty: The faculty and curriculum of the B.A. program are not very good. The teachers provided for us are adequate for some subjects, but the course is amazing. The semesters are not very tough, and the passing percentage is 95%. Yes, the teachers are helpful for the honors courses, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but the curriculum for the B.A. program is average. The exams are not that difficult because of the repeated previous years' questions.
Other: I chose this course for government exams. The best thing about our course is that the knowledge gained is beneficial for upcoming government exams like UPSC. I wish the teaching faculty would improve. Events and fests are held every year, such as orientation and festivals with a great crowd. The campus and college also offer scholarships for some students.

A good place for learning and exposure.
Placements: In the B.A. program, 5% to 10% of students got placed, but in other courses, the number of students placed was slightly higher. The top recruiting companies in past years included Mamaearth, Amazon, Lenskart, and Deloitte. To my knowledge, the highest package offered in the B.A. program was between 4 to 4.5 LPA, while the lowest was between 2 to 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college had good labs for Chemistry. Classrooms in the new building were quite big and well-maintained, but classrooms in the old building needed renovation. The college had its own gym, which was open to all students. The library contained a good number of books.
Faculty: Teachers of Ramjas College were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They had deep knowledge of their respective subjects, which helped students learn concepts easily. Regarding the relevance of the B.A. programme, it depended on the industry students wanted to pursue in the future. Semester exams were easy to pass with good preparation.

Really good infrastructure, supportive faculty, good placements for B.Com students.
Placements: B.A. students generally don't get placements in my college. Very few, like 1 or 2, get only one, and that is not much. The highest was 8 Lacs per year 2 years ago. B.Com students get a very high package as they do have a placement cell which is only for the B.Com and economics hons students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good and the classrooms are very large with a seating capacity of 130 students in one room. Labs are air-conditioned but not the regular classrooms. The library is very good having all the necessary books and Wi-Fi along with washrooms. Food along with the infrastructure of the canteen is just average as the quality and its hospitality is not up to the mark but the prices are cheap in comparison to other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are very skilled in the line of teaching having many years of experience and knowledge in their fields. They do a fantastic job in completing of syllabus in the time frame given. Additionally, they do tell the important questions or topics to be covered for competitive exams. Semester exams are based on pics only. We don't feel any difference in questions from the previous year's questions.
Other: I chose this course as this would help me in competitive exams after completing graduation. Also, I have been familiar with these subjects since my school. The crowd is vibrant and supportive as well. Connectivity is superb with bikes, autorickshaws, and buses. Fests offer many new opportunities for students. Extracurricular activities include quizzes, dance, debates, singing, beatboxing, sports like basketball, football, cricket, badminton, and table tennis.

College crowd is easy-going. Improvements are needed in infrastructure and placement opportunities.
Placements: The percentage of students in our course getting placed is negligible. Not much information is available about the placement process, leading to low awareness among students. More information should be provided about placement procedures, and students should be encouraged to take up internships to gain work experience.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi often does not work. Labs lack adequate infrastructure, while classrooms are fairly good except for their infrastructure. The food available in the canteen is affordable and worth eating, and the medicinal facilities are also fine. The college is known for its sports and games, which are fairly good.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and show adequate interest in teaching. They are qualified and have extensive knowledge of their subjects. The course curriculum is relevant and aims to provide opportunities for students. Semester exams are moderate and can be passed with relative ease.
Other: The B.A. programme includes one major and one minor subject, allowing students to gain insights into two areas without losing interest. Fests receive a good budget, but the management needs to pay more attention to timing.

So far, my experience has been decent. I am satisfied with my major subjects.
Placements: We have a lot of students in the B.A. PROGRAMME, and I am majoring in Philosophy, where there aren't many students. I don't have much idea about the placements. Well, I think since I am from the B.A. programme, I might have to work a little harder for internships and getting opportunities, but the college has given me such exposure to achieve that.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure can definitely be improved a little, but overall it's fine. Sometimes there are power cuts, which stand as a problem, and I am not residing in the hostel. The Wi-Fi, though, doesn't work properly, and I really hope measures are taken to solve the problem and also ensure that the water provided in college is safe.
Faculty: My philosophy professors are great and very helpful. I am getting to learn something new, and I am quite satisfied with the syllabus as well. If I talk about exams, their level has been average. I feel if you go through the previous year's question papers, you are all set.
Other: In Philosophy, I have no complaints, but I feel history classes can be a little improved. In Philosophy, I have the best professors, which is like a blessing. As for other subjects such as VAC, SEC, and AEC, it would've been better if they were not there.

Ramjas College- North Campus, DU .
Placements: Most students with commerce-related degrees were placed in companies like DE Shaw, Deloitte, PWC, EY, etc. For various roles like marketing, HR, and finance, placement cell is pretty active, so there are various opportunities for both internships and placements.
Infrastructure: Decent labs however, very poor classrooms, fans that almost don't work, no ACs in any class, lots of insects and dogs inside, and little to no cleanliness. Washrooms aren't well maintained either, and classroom seating is also very poor. It's too hot, and the elevators are also very old.
Faculty: The faculty is good, but the curriculum is not very well designed. Sometimes one might think that what's been taught isn't very relevant to that particular degree, and the exam pattern can also be vague. Semester exams are easy to moderate, depending on the course, and the checking is moderate.
