Our college is very good. All teachers' and staff's behavior is well.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered is Rs. 15,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 12,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 8,000 per month. Companies visit our college to recruit our course students. Around 70% of students got internships from our course. Many companies offered jobs. Top roles are offered in our college.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good. The infrastructure is very good. Hostel facilities are good. In the hostel, many facilities are available. The food quality is very good. Medical, sports, and games facilities are average.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant. This course makes students industry-ready. Almost 90% of students passed their semester exams. Semester exams in our college are not difficult. Teachers' behavior is very good. They are helpful.

Other: It is my favorite subject. Scholarships are provided. Our college conducts events and fests.

The college does not provide placements but has very good facilities and faculty members.

Placements: Though there is a placement cell in the college, yet no student from our batch got placed. The placement cell is not active when it comes to the postgraduate course in zoology. The cell does provide placement in some other courses but not in the zoology course. Internship opportunities were not provided in any company from our college. The placement cell aims in placing students who are pursuing technical courses and does not place students from the general courses.

Infrastructure: Laboratories are state-of-the-art, and the collection of modern equipment is pretty good. Laboratories are well maintained, and dedicated personnel to make sure that the laboratory remains clean. Adequate fire fighting equipment is also there. Checks are done on a regular basis to ensure that chemicals and other laboratory essentials are always in stock. There are two libraries one is the central library which has a huge collection of rare books and manuscripts. The other one is a dedicated zoology library which has a pretty good collection of reference and expensive books related to zoology. There are also dedicated computers where students can read digital books and research papers. Classrooms are well maintained with proper lighting, and cleanliness is also given priority. Most of the classrooms are ICT enabled. There is also a central classroom which is completely digitalised with state of the art projectors, digital boards and air-conditioned. Classrooms are under CCTV surveillance to provide adequate security to the students. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and internet speeds are pretty good for daily download activities. Hostel facilities are provided to students who live far away from the college campus. Hostels have a dedicated complaint cell to ensure quick resolution of problems regarding faulty lighting, dirty bathrooms, etc. Women safety is given a major priority, and thus the hostel corridors are under CCTV surveillance. The water facility is adequate, and the rooms are quite spacious. The quality of food provided in the hostel is not up to the mark. Though proper steps are maintained to ensure cleanliness in the kitchen, yet the food quality is a downside. The canteen provides quality food at cheap rates and is clean, and the staff there wear gloves while serving the food. There is a gymnasium in the college which has separate areas for boys and girls. Dedicated common rooms for boys and girls are provided and have many indoor games like carrom, table tennis, snooker, etc. The college frequently organises different outdoor sports and games competitions. There are dedicated staff to encourage students in playing outdoor games. A dedicated doctor and a nurse are always available on call for any medical emergency. First aid kits and life-saving drugs are always kept in stock for any unfortunate medical emergency.

Faculty: Teachers in the course are highly dedicated and knowledgeable. They have outstanding biodata and have years of teaching experience, and they always encourage students to ask questions. The faculty hold frequent field trips and excursions to impart hands-on training to the students. Teachers regularly undergo training and take part in seminars and conferences to enhance their knowledge and teaching abilities. This course curriculum is one of the best postgraduate course in zoology in the state of West Bengal. Students from all across the state try to get admitted into the course. The curriculum is apt and makes a student ready for future research and analysis activities. The curriculum is practical oriented, and thus students learn to implement theoretical knowledge precisely in the real world.

Other: I have chosen this course because the curriculum is very practical oriented and emphasises on hands-on training rather than just theoretical knowledge. The faculty members are very helpful, and the ambience of the classroom is fun yet friendly. There are a lot of opportunities to showcase one's knowledge because regular seminars, presentations and workshops are conducted, which enables a student to interact with experts. They also provide a chance to put forward their works and presentations in front of the experts. One major thing that they should improve about this course is placements. Placements cell should be more active and should provide an opportunity for students to get placed. The college organises an annual fest which is a major attraction of the college. Eminent performers perform during the fest. The college also organises numerous fun activities like fashion shows, dance competitions, singing contests, and quiz competitions etc. Cultural programmes are also held regularly. NSS and NCC are very active, and students are encouraged to take part in NSS activities. Blood donation camps are also held. The campus is well connected by road, and numerous buses pass by the college. The campus surrounding has many food stalls and a stationery shop with photocopy facilities for students. The college runs various state-funded and central government-funded scholarship programmes. The fee is waived for economically weak students, and certain students are also provided financial assistance to aid them in studying. The college encourages students in extracurricular activities. Prizes are given annually to students who regularly participate in activities like drama, recitation, poetry, singing, and dancing etc. The college has an extracurricular activity cell with dedicated experts who guide students to enhance their skill in various fields like drama, dance, singing, etc.
