Best college, good environment, and good for developing you overall.
Placements: College has a very good placement cell. Many students get placed. There are many companies and great companies that offer placements for the students of Madras Christian College. There are lots of companies walking in and there is no need to worry about placements.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of Madras Christian College is actually amazing. The college has Wi-Fi connection, but there might be little network issues. Hostel is good, Wi-Fi connection is available, and a great place to enhance talents. It is a great place to develop socialising skills, and it's more a home than hostel.
Faculty: Teachers are extremely qualified and student-friendly. Semester exams are moderate. The curriculum here is excellent. It encourages students to learn more than learning from text. There is a holistic approach for teaching and learning here. It is a great place to feed knowledge.
Other: An amazing greenery environment and the traditions followed here teach something more important. It is a liberal arts and science college, and best place to be your best.

Just like the spirit of their informal motto, "Live, Love, MCC," you can truly enjoy college life.
Placements: I'm studying BBA. To enter placement, you must have at least 75% in academics, and above 85% will provide great opportunities for good company placements without any arrears. Over 80% of students get placed in good companies, with salaries ranging from 2 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum.
Infrastructure: The BBA department has a computer lab for practicing Tally, advanced Excel, and research. The infrastructure is good and resembles an older model building but is very strong. The campus provides two grounds for sports, a theater for media studies, a library, and hostels for boys and girls. The campus also features an Innovation Park for startups.
Faculty: Teachers are well-trained, experienced, and qualified. Their teaching is very understandable and helpful. The course curriculum is closely related to industrial-ready concepts. If you perform well in the internal exams and study thoroughly for the semester exams, the semester exam will be easier. The passing mark is 40 out of 100, calculated from both internal and semester exams. There will be three internal exams: two written exams and one talent or practical exam, while the semester exam will be written for 100 marks and converted to 50 marks. Marks allocated for internal assessments are 50 for each; from that, the two best marks are chosen and converted into 50.
Other: I chose this course to gain knowledge about management in business and industry. This department offers many club activities and events like debates and quizzes.

Reality of MCC - Madras Christian College.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed in the big 4 companies every year. Top recruiting companies like big 4 companies like Deloitte, KPMG, etc., visit the college for placements. The average package is 10 LPA, and the highest package is based on the skills we have.
Infrastructure: Madras Christian College is a very old college. It was built around 187 years ago and it is known for it is old type of building. Madras Christian College has 6 hostels, 3 for boys and 3 for girls. The college canteen is the worst and has been sealed twice.
Faculty: Staff members are not good. Mainly the principal fits for nothing. He is the one who brings the college's name down. Semester exams are held twice a year. Semester exams are not difficult but still, students fail.

Overall very satisfied with the department and MCC College.
Placements: 25% of students were placed but most students opted for higher education. For our course, we did not get many packages as we were the first batch in psychology. Everyone in our course did an internship in various hospitals and organizations. We did research and attended lots of conferences and symposiums.
Infrastructure: The department has its library and separate classes with good infrastructure for every batch is available. Wi-Fi is available in the college library. The hostel halls in MCC are the best. We get quality food with veg and non-veg options, infirmary is available for emergencies on the campus. There are lots of game activities like inter-hall competitions and inter/intra-department sports meet.
Faculty: Professors are doctorate-qualified. They teach very well. They motivate us to do a lot of research work. The course curriculum is relevant to the latest trends in the industry. Exams are difficult and the pass percentage is 40/100. Overall the department is very good and improving than before with new facilities.
Other: MCC is filled with cultural events throughout the year. Annual events like Deepwoods and the inter hall sports meet are the biggest highlights of the college. The campus spans 365 acres of lush greenery, home to many plants and animals, including deer and porcupines that roam freely. The culture at MCC is distinct from other colleges around Chennai, with its unique traditions and customs.

The college is lush green. It has good infrastructure and good culture.
Placements: They mainly teach editing, videography, etc. Students are very good ATIT. Internship everyone gets it in our course. There is a high percentage of students getting internships in our course. A minimum of 50 students are placed in our course for one year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good we have the equipment for shoots and radio. The quality of food is good it is hygenicyamd they care of it good. There are a lot of different sports in which we can participate. Classrooms are good and the library is very useful it has every.
Faculty: Teachers are very interactive and helpful. They encourage us and help us in our studies. Semester exams are not very tough it is like if you study you can pass. The course curriculum doesn't make the students ready for the industry. They are qualified. They teach very well.
Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in animation. The event everything here is good we enjoy it every time.

It's all about MCC life.
Placements: I hadn't heard much about placements from our college, especially for B.Sc., it is not much. But placements come for B.A., M.A., and social departments, with recruitment taking place through NCC. But the ratio of students getting placed with total was very low. The minimum package it provided was 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very attractive if you liked old-period architecture, as it is one of Asians oldest colleges, built by the rulers during the 1800s. There was no Wi-Fi in the college, but the hostels did provide Wi-Fi. Labs were large with basic old instrumentation, lacking modern facilities. The mess food was good, but it was not suited for me as I belong to the East.
Faculty: Exams were divided into three ICAs internal exams, of which the best two were considered, along with an end-semester exam per semester. The two ICAs were like exams, and the third ICA was special, which could be in the form of a presentation, assignment, project work, or quiz, depending on the professor's choice. The teaching quality was good for basic foundational theoretical development, providing good understanding, but it lacked problem-solving skills. Teachers didn't make us practice numerical or even give questions on numerical during exams.
Other: The campus life was a very enthusiastic field, with wildlife creatures like deer, peacocks, and monkeys roaming around freely. Many inter-department and inter-hostel events took place, showing so much energy and support for their respective hostels. The things that could have been improved were teaching skills and preparing students for advanced learning and out-of-the-box thinking to expand their minds.
