Placements: Our college has good placement, very good companies will approach, it all depends on students if they work hard, surely they get placed. Top companies for our course include Infosys, Wipro, Ultratech, and TCS, which are some of the companies listed above, and are excellent companies.
Infrastructure: As you know, Civil is the hardware course. Here, you get to know about how buildings are built, how the loads are distributed among the buildings, the concentration of materials used in a building, etc. Overall, the course I have chosen is the interesting course that I personally love.
Faculty: There are different faculty members for each subject that they will be taking, faculty members are well educated, and the majority are holding double degrees, so this helps a lot to gain knowledge and advice. They are very kind to students. Exams are easy if we study well.

It has good faculty members, placements, infrastructure, facilities, events, etc.
Placements: Placements are pretty much average. Many good companies visit our college, and even many students get selected. The percentage of placements for students of civil engineering is comparatively low. The salary package offered varies from 2-8 LPa. Top recruiting companies like Infosys, TCS, and Accenture visit the college for placements. More than half of the students get an internship. A design or Auto CAD role is offered in our course.
Infrastructure: The facilities are pretty much good. The civil branch has its own library. It has free Wi-Fi for students. Labs and classrooms are available for us. The civil engineering branch is the first branch to be established, so the quality of civil engineering in our college is actually good.
Faculty: Lectures in civil engineering are comparatively helpful from other branches. Currently, our civil branch is having a transition, like many experienced lectures are retiring, and a new set of lectures are being appointed. The course curriculum is relevant. I am not so sure whether the course curriculum makes students industry-ready or not. Semester exams are pretty much messed up due to COVID, and still, it is average. Half of the total marks is the pass percentage here.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am more interested in civil engineering compared to other courses. Faculty members are helpful, and that was the reason I primarily chose this course. I wish this COVID-19 goes and everything comes to normal and classes shall go on, as usual. The college fest organised here is the best. Many scholarships are available for the students. There are clubs to join in the college, which is awesome.

It is a good college and a good place to study.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. About 70-75% of students get campus placements. Many top recruiting companies like Benz, Amazon, etc., visit our college for placements. About 75% of students got an internship at the college.
Infrastructure: In the hostel, the food quality is declining day by day. A good Wi-Fi facility is available for students. Classrooms are well digitised, and students have very good opportunity to learn some new things from the classes and courses. The grounds are available where the students can go and refresh themselves. The food served in the hostel is average, but the hostel management is not giving us non-vegetarian food. The infrastructure of our college is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful to students in many ways. They always motivate students in activities. If we listen to the classes properly, then it is very easy to pass the semester exams. If we want to score good marks, then we should give our own efforts.
Other: Fests are conducted in our college, but due to the Coronavirus pandemic at present, the fests are not conducted. Campus life is good. I am from the 2024 passing-out batch.

Satisfied with all the facility that are provided, good faculty and best environment for students.
Placements: On this very year a company named EVERY has requited 18 people and offered package of 4.2 Lacs per annum. Last year a company named BHEL has requited 6 members and it's the highest of all to offer best package. Our placement officer Mr. Neelkantappa has bought many companies and provided more opportunities.
Infrastructure: We have been provided with best Wi-Fi facility, with outstanding digital library, newly equipped lab instruments with best faculty, we have well maintained swimming pool and play ground, those who are interested in fitness can go to gym regularly and our well built campus is within 45 acres of land.
Faculty: Our faculty to students ratio is 1:5, we have well qualified lectures most of them have obtained Ph.D. and finished engineering from IIT's. The teachers are very helpful for project works and they encourage for extracurricular activities like innovative ideas that students have concelted them. For each and every sem we are taken to industrial visits.
Other: There are two main college fest ( Jamboree and Malnad) there are about more than 10 club's and two intercollege fests are conducted each year and more number of participants appear for intercollege fest from in and around colleges.

A good college for civil engineering.
Placements: The placements in our college are pretty good. Very good companies come to pick us. Our faculty also encourage us to learn about new things which help us in placement time. Our college is accredited by NBA which is national board, under this, many companies visit the college to hire us.
Infrastructure: It is an old institute, both old and new infrastructure are there, but most of the buildings are old. The campus has a nice view. We have a food court, playground and many more facilities. We have a big library with almost all books. New technologies are implemented like solar and windmills to generate power supply.
Faculty: There are good and well-trained faculty members. They are more enthusiastic to teach us, they assist us to learn new things, and conduct quiz and many types of competitions to energize us. Our curriculum is up to date, they teach the present technologies.
Other: We conduct many events like Jamboree and Enigma, Sciencia, etc., and many more technical activities, workshops and internship programmes.

Best for civil as Per my opinion as a civil student.
Placements: Currently we are getting pool placements and by another 2 year I hope there will be improvement in placement for civil students, you can take up exams to get placed in government posts or you can opt for higher studies. But the knowledge you gain here will surely help you in the future.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is very good, though it is an old college the college has maintained it well and you'll get all the facilities like stationary store and canteen inside the campus. We have well maintained playground and gym for students. Campus is so beautiful and its full of trees and its clean.
Faculty: Especially in civil all the faculty members are good and very student friendly and even our course is well organized. If you are fairly serious about studies you can really gain good amount of knowledge. The courses are fairly distributed among two seems.

It is a good college, but the faculty are not friendly with students.
Placements: A few companies visited our college for the placement. The placements for our branch are low. The branches like EC and CS branch will get more placements. Nearly, 50 to 60% of the students of these branches get placed, and 10 to 30% of the students from other branches get placed. The percentage of placements is increasing yearly. Most of the students are placed in TCS company.
Infrastructure: Our campus has occupied around 43-acres in the centre of the city. The infrastructure is good. All the branches have their separate building and labs. We will get the Wi-Fi all over the campus, and we have the sports and medical facilities also. We have a big 3-floor library. The college has three big grounds to play. We have the canteen on our campus which serves better food, and the taste of the food is also good.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are also good. Some of them will help us. Some of them will not help us. We have the highly qualified teachers, and they have studied in IITs. The quality of teaching is good. They use different teaching methods. The student to teachers ratio is almost 8:1. They will take us to industrial visit every year. The course provided here was good, and we have lots of electives.
Other: Our college has the big auditorium where the events and fests were organised. Our college also organises fests and events. Our college is always medium crowded. Our college is in the centre of the city. Shops and houses surround it. The city bus facility is provided by our college. We get the scholarship from the government every year.

Malnad College at its best.
Placements: Tata Consultancy Services regularly conduct campus interview every year. This time, many more have come forward, and also this is the first college, where a student from non-IIT to be selected for Google, and it paid for an internship 3.5 to 4 lacs per month.
Infrastructure: There is a sophisticated hostel, well-maintained playgrounds, modernised labs, swimming pool, and a fully equipped and new multi gym with a trainer. There is an ultimate canteen, in which the tastiest well-prepared healthy food is available. The superclass hostel facility is available at an affordable fee. This is the college, where Kannada hit movie Kirk party was shooted. Totally, there is good weather and climate, and overall, the college is beautiful.
Faculty: The teaching faculty members are well-experienced. They teach with modernised computer-based and inculcates new technologies through practical experience. There are well-arranged workshops for each department/branches. The facilities like conducting examination and looks at the overall growth of the students.
Other: There are many fests on the campus. All nearly there are about 21 scholarships facilities for the students. There are extracurricular activities like talent hunt programmes and many more.
