There are no placements for M.Tech students.
Placements: In our college, there are no placements for M.Tech students. Even, they haven't registered for placement cell. Since this college is autonomous for BE and M.Tech, it was affiliated with VTU. So they don't refer for placements. But now, M.Tech in Malnad college is also autonomous so they may allow for placements. However, I'm not sure.
Infrastructure: When I was joined in Malnad college of engineering for M.Tech in the electrical department, the infrastructure was not good. It is a 60 years old building, and even benches are not good. But, during my second semester, due to the equipment fund, they are renovating the infrastructure. Now the infrastructure of our college is nice.
Faculty: When I have joined in the college, our head of the department was Dr Vishwanath Hedge. He is a strict person, and he expects all works have to be done punctually. Otherwise, he takes strict action. Many of the teaching staff are PhD holders and knowledgeable persons, and they help to gain your knowledge.
Other: In our college, based on PGCET ranking, they give scholarships to first five students of rupees Rs. 8000 per month from the equip fund.
