I am grateful to be an alumnus of this college, it's a great place.
Placements: I can't say much about placements as the drive runs during our exams. So, rarely do students from the batch get selected, but students from other batches do get selected, and oftentimes placement drives take place in college. Many seminars are held to teach us for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really cool. At MCM, we even have a girls' common room. It has AC and it is so comfy and relaxed, we often made assignments there, chilled, and worked on annual functions, chit-chat, and gossiped and had a amazing laugh.
Faculty: Faculty members are okay. But the teachers here are so helpful and sweet, they help a lot. Great teachers. The curriculum of the course is relevant and up-to-date. The semester exams are pretty good to examine us. They are good, according to the syllabus they taught us.
Other: I chose Sociology, and the best thing about this course is that it took me to the roots of society, why and what is happening around us. I love this subject. They can make it more technical in the future, and also need to add more research papers, campus and college events, and annual functions, which are damn fun that happen all the time in college. Loved it, enjoyed it.

Dissatisfied because of faculty.
Placements: Students who get above 60% get admission to the college. During or after the course, no packages are offered, and no placements are organized. No recruitment companies come. Two internship companies come to the college with the main motive of selling their courses.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful, and even the staff members in the office are very rude to students. They don't compromise or understand the problems of students. They just want money. They rusticate me even though I am on medical leave. They lost my medical documents. They treat them by cutting off their names from the college. They ask for admission fees twice.
Other: I chose this course because of the many opportunities after this course.

Good College but Not the Best One
Placements: About 70-80% of students are placed with satisfactory packages. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, and Amazon offer placements to students. Students typically get jobs in sales and marketing, etc. However, we can't say that the college offers too many placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average—not particularly fancy or comfortable. Classrooms are small and tight. The library is pretty good with available facilities. The hostel is also decent, offering facilities like washing machines, Wi-Fi, a reading room, and libraries. The food is acceptable, not too bad. Medical facilities are available, and games are also provided for students to play.
Faculty: Some teachers are very supportive and helpful, while others can be rude and unhelpful. All of them are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching is pretty good. However, the course curriculum is not very relevant, as it focuses mainly on theoretical knowledge with little practical application. Semester exams are moderate to easy if you study.
Other: I chose this course for my future goal of teaching. The best aspect is that it opens up many opportunities for commerce students in the future and provides deep knowledge of the subject. However, the course could improve by offering less theoretical knowledge and more practical knowledge. Events are held in college, but not many are organized, and they are not that good. The campus crowd can also be boring, with limited extracurricular activities. Only students who are professionals in a specific area are allowed to participate, which restricts others from learning. Auditions for everything can be frustrating.

College is very good. It is best for B.A. hons in political science.
Placements: Placement offers were less for bachelor of arts. The highest average package offered was Rs 15,000 per month, and the lowest was Rs 10,000 per month. There were many government related internships. Top roles offered in the course were assistant professor or civil servant.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was up-to-date with full Wi-Fi connectivity. The library satisfied the need for books. Hostel was amazing and hygienic. The food was nutritious and healthy. There were water coolers on every floor of the hostel and fully automatic washing machines.
Faculty: Teachers were very understanding and helpful. They provided every little detail of the course. The course curriculum was relevant and helped in future exams. Semester exams were easy and were relevant to the study material provided by the teachers, and I scored 80%.
Other: I opted for B.A. Hons in political science which provided me with every detail of how politics work around the world. College offered a variety of events and scholarships.

Campus life at MCM DAV college for women.
Placements: The college offers great placements when it comes to my course. However, some of the students don’t go for campus placements, and the ones who opt for it definitely get something. There are multiple placement drives held, around 20 to 30, to make sure that students get the right opportunity. There are also an ample number of internships that the college provides for 2nd and 3rd-year students to enhance their skills.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very calm and composed; however, there aren’t any such requirements for my course. However there are labs and other facilities for technical courses, and the library is equipped with ample books for students to read and learn from. There are also sports facilities for students interested in the relevant field.
Faculty: The course curriculum and exams for my course are not that complex, and they are quite related to the course as well. Subjects like e-commerce, taxation, management, and various types of accounting help us prepare for the things people work with in daily life.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in pursuing my career in business and management, and it was the best decision to go for it in my college as I got so many opportunities that I couldn't have had otherwise.

Good faculty and academics but lacks in co-curricular activities.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not as they are started by the college. Placement opportunities are very less and companies visiting are also less. Placements are usually taken off-campus only and whoever got recruited through college, their package is not very good.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure in terms of benches and classes is not good but labs are very facilitated and accessible to students. The Wi-Fi connectivity of the college is also fine and accessible. Hostel mess food is good but facilities like AC and laundry are not available in the college.
Faculty: The college faculty is good. Professors are well-qualified and helpful. They are friendly and also provide mentorship and guidance to students in every aspect of life. The curriculum is religiously followed in college. Course exams are familiar and fine in difficulty level; if you have attended classes, you will pass easily.
Other: The course faculty is good at this specific college, so I chose MCM for BCA. The events and fests don't happen often. College lacks in this area.
