Good faculty and academics but lacks in co-curricular activities.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not as they are started by the college. Placement opportunities are very less and companies visiting are also less. Placements are usually taken off-campus only and whoever got recruited through college, their package is not very good.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure in terms of benches and classes is not good but labs are very facilitated and accessible to students. The Wi-Fi connectivity of the college is also fine and accessible. Hostel mess food is good but facilities like AC and laundry are not available in the college.
Faculty: The college faculty is good. Professors are well-qualified and helpful. They are friendly and also provide mentorship and guidance to students in every aspect of life. The curriculum is religiously followed in college. Course exams are familiar and fine in difficulty level; if you have attended classes, you will pass easily.
Other: The course faculty is good at this specific college, so I chose MCM for BCA. The events and fests don't happen often. College lacks in this area.

Satisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: I'm currently doing BCA I'm in 3rd year. I'm not yet graduated so I don't know much about placements. But one of my seniors got placed in very good company. There is an eligibility criteria to get eligible and qualified for the internship and placements. There is a placement cell which works for internships and students placement. Regular sessions for interviews and placements are held to encourage and build confidence of students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good here. We are provided with fully AC classrooms with individual computers to work on practicals. The library is quite small for all the students; it needs to be upgraded. There is greenery all over the college where we can enjoy sitting to relax and study. Wi-Fi is connected most of the time. The area for parking is also huge. The canteen prices are high, according to me, but the quality is overall good. As I'm a regular student, I don't know much about hostel facilities.
Faculty: As for my batch, the teachers here are very supportive and cooperative with the students. They provide us with the notes, pdf, and PPT to understand better. The curriculum is difficult as compared to 1st and 2nd years. Teachers here also motivate us to participate in cultural events and activities. They conduct regular sessions for doubts and queries related to subjects. The semester exams are quite difficult, but for that, the teachers provide us with previous year sample papers, which are very useful.
Other: I chose this course because it is high in demand in today's IT industry. The best things for this course are the skills and abilities that we learn here. The programming skills are very helpful for any BCA student. The thing that should be improved here is that the library area should be upgraded. The food price is very high, according to me. Regular cleaning should be done for washrooms. More books should be issued in exam time. There are different festivals and hunts conducted in college for students creativity and knowledge enhancement. The surroundings are very peaceful, as there is greenery all over the college.

Kind and friendly faculty members and interesting and enjoyable fests.
Placements: Well-reputed and known companies select talented students with good grades and also offer good salaries. 60-70 percent placements are offered to students, and internships are provided for a better future and experience. Students are taken on an office trip in order to show a professional office environment for a better mindset.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of my course are pretty average, as there are all facilities like ACs in all computer labs, libraries, clean and spacious classrooms, canteens with good quality food and affordable rates, wi-fi facilities, sports, hostels, and mess. There should be more clean washrooms; that is the problem everyone faces. Also, there should be washrooms in the BCA department.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly and kind. Every student is given attention in order to clear doubts. Safety inside and outside college is provided on a serious note. Semester exams are above average as the syllabus is the same as that taught in class by teachers. BCA is a relevant course that provides vast opportunities in the IT sector.
Other: BCA provides vast opportunities in the IT sector. There should be washrooms in the BCA department.

Best college in Tricity. The college with the best reputation in Chandigarh.
Placements: In our course, approximately 60% of students have been placed. The course has a package that is the highest at 30 LPA, an average at 15 LPA, and the lowest at 10 LPA. Tata, Amazon, and Mahindra are among the top recruitment companies in the BCA course. Around 40% of students are getting internships and placements in Tata and Mahindra.
Infrastructure: The campus is well organized and has stunning infrastructure. There are different departments that include labs and classrooms. The college has a canteen that serves hygienic food, clean and hygienic washrooms, and water coolers that provide cool water. The Golden Jubilee Celebration is where all the events are taking place. WiFi services are also available. Students have access to a library that offers AC facilities and diverse books. Although I'm a day scholar, I don't know much about the hostel. But our college hostel is our top choice.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are both helpful and friendly. All the teachers are qualified with PHDs and UGC/NET degrees. To improve students studies, they regularly provide notes and assignments, and weekly tests are conducted. Throughout the month, mentorships are held for students to enhance there knowledge.
Other: As a BCA student, I am interested in coding and web development. The best thing is that the students are given a variety of skills. Different events are taking place at the college like MERAKI, IT Fest, Youth Fest, etc. An IT Fest is held where computer science students and other college students compete in various types of competitions. There is also MERAKI, a campus where students are engaged in diverse activities and having good time.

Overview of MCM DAV College .
Placements: There are basically 2 sections in BCA, where each class has almost 50 students. Most students have to score above 70, of course, to get admission here; I personally had 80% in my 12th. There are internships offered but not at the college. Other recruiters may be approached but some of them charge some money. I personally haven't taken part in any internships. Some startup companies also come for the internships.
Infrastructure: The labs are in good condition, fully air and have a large area with whiteboards and projectors as well. The rooms in the BCA department for other than lab subjects are not the most spacious but they also have coolers. Also, the benches are difficult to sit for a long time.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified; there's a board placed in the department with the teacher's name image and qualifications, and every teacher is highly educated. Some has done AI studies and some has clarified GATE. The course includes all the subjects for BCA students, like dsa web programming Java, etc. The semester exams are moderate, sometimes even difficult. There's no pass percentage as such; if a subject is not cleared, then have to do it again; otherwise, there's no specific pass percentage.
Other: I wanted to go to a computer line course; that's why I opted for BCA myself. The best thing about my course would be that I get to know more and more about computers and new technologies, as this field is making great advancements. There's always something going on on campus. For IT students, there's a special fest called IT Fest only for us, and besides this, MERAKI is a very big event of the year, which is a very hyped and fun event where everybody can come and enjoy.

I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: 30% of my class are placed. The highest package was 6 lacs per year. The lowest pace offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Infosys, Daclon, and TCS. Many students got internships at various companies. Data analysts developed skills to become data scientists.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college, and free Wi-Fi is provided to students. The good infrastructure of the college makes it the cleanest college. All the computers are operational in the labs. The food in the mess is of good quality and very tasty. There are hockey and football fields in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, extremely qualified, and very knowledgeable. Pursuing BCA, there is scope in computers college to make the students industry-ready. It is easy to pass the semester exam if you study with the utmost dedication and sincerity.
Other: Meraki is the biggest event.
