It is a good college for students.

Placements: It is not good enough only for the computer science and BCA departments. Others are not eligible for placements, so the college is not for placements. It is only for academic purposes. Any student can study here for academic purposes. It is not as good as other engineering colleges. So I suggest students do not think about it.

Infrastructure: The hostel is not good. There is no space for a single bed, and all students get sharing rooms.

Faculty: The curriculum and exam system are fantastic, so we are busy with exams all year. We can study here for a long time. Courses are so well-connected that we can study in higher institutions and get entry easily. We can study here for academic excellence, so I suggest students get into this college. All courses are fantastic. All courses are well designed so that we can further study in foreign and domestic settings. It is a high-level college.

Very much grateful studying in such a #73 NIRF ranked college .

Placements: In our course there are no placements available, but for other courses like BCA, placements are available. Some big companies visit our college and provide placements to the students. As per sources, 6 to 7 LPA is the highest offered in those course. Almost 70% students got placed.

Infrastructure: A very good infrastructure is available in our college. Well maintained classrooms are there and all the types of books are available in our college library. The teachers are very much attentive and helpful to students. A canteen is also available which provides healthy food at low prices. Indoor and outdoor game facilities are also available in our college.

Faculty: The teachers are always available and helpful. They are well qualified and they teach us in a very good manner. The course helps us for our future studies. Practicals help us for our future. The semester exams are moderate to tough. Almost 80% students pass in each semester.

Other: I always wanted to be a Physics teacher from my childhood so this is the best option to fulfill my dream. The college affiliated scholarship 'JAGADISH CHANDRA SCHOLARSHIP' is available for best students of our college in the Physics department. College fests initiate in the month of December and continue till the month end with a cultural festival.

Good faculty and best friendly college.

Placements: Almost 30-40 % students placed through placement cell. Avg package is 3 LPA. I didn't know the exact the highest package. Top companies are Tcs, Wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% students usually gets internships but most of them are unpaid. Honest I didin't know about top roles offered till now, but some seniors get admission as guest lecturer in some colleges and some placed as web developer.

Infrastructure: Facilities are too good and humble and infrastructure is also A class and the classrooms are neat and clean. But the departmental Wi-Fi connection is not good at all. Labs are mediocre and instruments are old. If we come to the topic of hostel, then rooms are good and food facilities are great. Also has sports ground and all sports equipment to explore.

Faculty: Teachers are also high qualified and helpful and mentored students in excellent manner. Yes the course makes students industry ready in a very good level. Semester exam are not too hard. You can crack it with basic knowledge of your syllabus and fundamental things.

Other: Best thing of the course is that, it gives chance in research in Science background. Campus is full of green and scholarships for students is good.

Review of Midnapore College.

Placements: Our college provides placements only for BCA and computer science students and not for other courses. Placement partners of our college are Jio, TCS, HCL, IBM, etc. Our college does not provide placements for B.Sc. students, but students qualify for IIT JAM.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. I am doing B.Sc. course here. Labs are excellent. All the lab apparatus is modern. Classrooms are very good. Free Wi-Fi is available in our college. The library is excellent. All types of old and new books are available in our library. Our hostel facilities are good. The quality of food available in the mess is average. All types of games are played here.

Faculty: The college has many professors. Most of the faculty members are assistant professors. Professors have passed CSIR NET and GATE. Some are Ph.D. holders. Teachers are very helpful with our studies and also other problems. The exam pattern is excellent. Many students qualify for IIT JAM from our college.

Other: I love physics so I chose this course. Our college provides good quality education. Our college is NAAC accredited with an A+ grade.

Review of Midnapore College.

Placements: This is a general degree college so this college does not provide placements. It also has a placement cell that trains students for exams.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is better in this college. Laboratories and classrooms are good. Air-conditioners are available in classrooms. There is a Wi-Fi facility and they provide 100 MB per day. The canteen is good. A playground is available for games like basketball, cricket, and football.

Faculty: Our course curriculum is based on CBCS. Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I opted for this course as it is one of the best colleges in South Bengal. Fests are average in this college but the annual fest is conducted wonderfully.

It was the best college of Northeast India.

Placements: About 30% of students of our college got placements. The highest salary package offered was 1 LPA and the lowest salary offered was Rs.2000 per month. The recruiting companies of our college were Tata, Wipro, Reliance Jio, and Airtel. Above 10% of students got internships in different institutes like IIT.

Infrastructure: The library of our college was very good. Our college had a big and digital library and a big Chemistry laboratory. Our college had a medium-size hostel. The quality of our college canteen was very good and clean. Our college had a big basketball ground. Wi-Fi facilities were available only for college staff members.

Faculty: The teachers of our college were very helpful and all teachers maximum are Ph.D. degrees holder. The teaching quality of our teachers was very helpful. My course was very good in the college. Our college conducted a semester system examination.

Other: The course which I chose was very important in Science now. Our college premises was very crowded.

Review of Midnapore College.

Placements: Around 60% of students are placed in our college. There is no package in our college but students prepare for many government exams. But it is a great college and many students are placed in jobs. There are no rules in this course. Around 50% of students get internships.

Infrastructure: It provides a central library in this college, and all types of books are available. Wi-Fi is available but not for everyone only for college staff. Classrooms are modern and very clear. The laboratories are very great and I like them most. It provides hygienic foods in the hostels. Sports and gym are available in this college.

Faculty: The teaching quality is very great, and teachers are very helpful. It does not make students industry-ready but ready for many competitive exams and placed in IIT for higher studies. It has very difficult questions in the semester exams. Nearly 80% of students passed in the semester. It provides very good teaching staff in our department.

Other: In this college, many events like cultural fests and annual programs are held. Sports like volleyball are also provided, and a gym is also available.

Midnapore College is good enough for the B.Sc course. I am satisfied.

Placements: It is a general college. About 70% of the students got placed in our course in various institutions all over India like IIT, NIT, TIFR, Hisar, etc. Students cracked many exams in physics. Few students get a chance in TCS company from our course department. Almost 20% of the students got internships from SHE, i.e., Inspire Internships.

Infrastructure: The facilities of our college are quite good, and it is an autonomous college. There are both digital and general classrooms, but teachers are generally comfortable with general classrooms. Our college campus has its own Wi-Fi, and it is OTP verified. I think that the amount of Wi-Fi data is low. Lab base subjects have their own labs, and all lab materials and instruments are available for the experiment. I think above 80% of the lab experiments are completed. There is a huge library to supply many books, and librarians are also good. There are also available digital libraries. Our college campus has its own canteen. The food quality is good, but the fee is high. Hostel of college is 2-3 minutes walking distance from the college. There are messes of various kinds. Teachers encouraged students for sports and games also, and there is a big ground on the college campus. Many students and others can play various kinds of sports. Our college campus has indoor games and girls and boys common rooms separately.

Faculty: Faculty members are good, and most of the teachers have completed their PhDs from recognised institutions. They have great knowledge, but some teachers don't give their full potential thought they have good knowledge. Their moral character is good. Teaching quality is different for different teachers. Various students from many places of Wast Bengal come and make a competitive and relevant circumstance, which encourage to good results. Students get admission into big recognised institutions from here all over India. Semester exams are standard, and a number distribution is also standard. The pass percentage is 35%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I am interested in physics, and it is a good institute in our locality.
