The candidates are required to appear for the MIT DAT (Design Aptitude Test), an entrance test conducted by the MIT Institute of Design (Pune), MIT University of Design Alandi Pune, Avantika University (Ujjain), and MIT University Meghalaya for admission Design Programmes. Once the candidates qualifies the test they are called for the studio test and personal interview.

The eligibity criteria is three year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate. The slection process involve entrance test conducted by MITWPU. Candidates who fulfills the eligibilty criterion is qualified for the etrance test.
