MIT SOA MPlan is offered with speicialisation in Urban and Regional Planning. The duration of the course is two-years, spread over four semesters. The curriculum of the programme is designed to help shape the policies to combat global warming and contribute to the creation of self-sufficient communities. The MIT SOA MPlan includes the following coursework:

• 8 Weeks Professional Training in Govt. Semi-Govt and Private Offices between 2nd and 3rd Sem

• Planning Studios on Area Development, City Development and Regional Development along with Integrated Core Courses and Electives.

As per the selection process of MPlan at MIT School of Architecture, students must get a UG degree in Architecture/ Planning/ Civil Engineering/ Technology and a PG degree in Geography or Sociology or Economics with a minimum aggregate of 55% or 5.50 CGPA (5% relaxation for reserved category). Aspirants who apply with a valid score of GATE will be given preference. Non-GATE candidates can also apply via scores of PERA CET. 

MIT School of Architecture provides various scholarships to BArch, MArch, MPlan students. The details are mentioned below:

BArch: EWS Scholarship 50% on total fees as per Maharashtra Govt. Norms 10% on admitted intake.

MArch: EWS Scholarship 50% on total fees as per Maharashtra Govt. Norms 10% on admitted intake. The institute also offer scholarships to students against writing research papers or similar work.

MPlan: EWS Scholarship 50% on total fees as per Maharashtra Govt. Norms 10% on admitted intake

MIT School of Architecture offers a two-year MPlan course in only one specialisations, i.e., Urban and Regional Planning. The total seat intake for this course is 20. The admission processes for this course is governed by the guidelines of Council of Architecture, New Delhi (COA) and the MIT ADT University.

MIT SOA offers MPlan course for two years. The total tuition fees for MPlan is INR 4.1 lakh. This information is sourced from official sources. There are other fee components such as Development Fee, Convocation, Alumni charges, Medical Insurance, University Fee, etc., included in the total course fee. 

MIT School of Architecture applications are currently open for 2026 session. Candidates can apply for UG and PG courses till July 31, 2026. Aspirants can fill out the form online on the official website of MIT-ADT University. Candidates need to pay INR 1,800 to apply for a course.

MIT School of Architecture admissions are entirely entrance-based. Admissions start with the release of the application forms on the official website of the institute. MIT SOA considers PERA CET or GATE scores for MPlan and M.Arch courses. Admission to BArch is based on NATA or JEE Main Paper-2 scores of the aspirants. MIT-ADT conducts PET or accepts GATE scores for admission to PhD programme. Selected candidates are called for counselling, document verification and fee payment.

MIT School of Architecture considers entrance exam scores for admission. The school accepts GATE or PERA CET scores for M.Arch and MPlan programmes. The selection for BArch programme is based on NATA or JEE Main Paper-2 scores of the candidates. Hence, direct admission is not possible.
