It really has a good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students get placed in our course. Placements are extremely good but it's very difficult to secure placements in the aeronautical branch. The package offered is very high, and it is about 48 LPA. The average package ranges from 10-12 LPA. Some students got internship offers also.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course are really awesome. They provide us full Wi-Fi facility and full air-conditioning classrooms. The library is also present on the campus to study. Facilities in the hostel are also good like purified water, clean washrooms, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They guide us in all dimensions of life education and real-time problems. The teaching quality of our faculty members is extremely good. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester examinations are a little tough.

    It is a good college.
Placements: Placements are good. They provide a good number of companies. There are several staff who help in the placement process. They help to achieve a good placement and in good company. There is a chance of getting placed early.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college shows how good this college is. There are plenty of well-designed classrooms with high-end projectors. They have a good mess and canteen which supports over 400 students at a time. The greenery of the college attracts you.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good. Some of them are waste. They don't know how to deal with students and their attitude towards students is bad. Exams are good. They give improvement questions and topics based on which they conduct exams.

My college journey and one part of my life.
Placements: I am currently doing a BE in Aeronautical Engineering. My batch contains 32 students. The highest package was around 27 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA per annum. According to our scheme, we don’t have internships this year. Mostly IT companies come for campus placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very good, and the food is excellent. My course costs around 180,000 INR per year, and the hostel costs around 120,000 INR per year. The hostel is a two-sharing bedroom with an attached bathroom and is maintained very neatly. At the college, we have two libraries and clubs. Classrooms and labs are centrally air-conditioned.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well-qualified and educated. Most professors in our department have Ph.D.s, and they teach very well and provide notes. Semester exams are neutrally difficult, and in rare cases, they are very hard. The curriculum is pretty relevant, and we have extra labs.
Other: I wanted to join an aviation-related course, and I thought doing Aeronautical Engineering was a good option. That’s how I joined this course. Events here at MITE are very good and grand; they bring Bollywood celebrities for a night, and it was extraordinary.

Student review on Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering.
Placements: The placement performance at MITE is noteworthy, with the following highlights 60% of students with a CGPA above 7.8 secure placements. 90% of students with a CGPA above 9 receive job offers. The highest salary package offered to date is 50 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. A considerable number of graduates who do not opt for placements pursue entrepreneurial ventures, reflecting a growing start-up culture among MITE students.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are good. Its two shared bedrooms with attached bathroom and the fee is around 1.2 lakh per year including mess fee, rent, and maintenance fee. You have to deposit Rs 20,000 in the beginning. Meal quantity is very sufficient and the menu is flexible since it's a South Indian-oriented kitchen. For washing clothes, washing machines are there. There are many facilities in our college.
Faculty: All are selected and good faculty members. They give good education, and they support students in everything and exam time. They give more focus, and they provide more question papers. They do class tests so that we are confident to write exams. All faculty members make our exams very easy and clear. There will be one faculty member for six students. The ratio of faculty members and students in our college is 1:6.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: The 2024 batch of senior placements is ongoing, and so far, the highest package offered is for the Computer Science and Engineering branch. This year, Electronics and Communication Engineering branch students are getting fewer placements. Many companies are from IT, with a few core companies also participating.
Infrastructure: Our college has improved a lot. The college infrastructure is good, with many labs and decent lab facilities. The classrooms are air-conditioned. There are two libraries. The hostel rooms are also good, with double or triple-sharing rooms and attached bathrooms. A variety of items are provided in the mess. Our college food court offers chaats, burgers, French fries, and many more.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable and very helpful. The course curriculum is advanced. The lecturers are highly qualified professionals with PhDs, and have published good papers. Along with the syllabus, they are ready to share trends and advancements in technologies. Semester exams are quite difficult but manageable if you regularly attend classes.
