Placements are okay, but the environment on campus and the people are good.
Placements: 69% should be placed in 2024-2025. The highest package is 21 LPA, 3.5 was the lowest, and the average was 6 LPA. Amazon, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Flipkart, and other call center companies mostly had off-campus placements. The placement department was good and very helpful. Top roles included data analytics, software development, ML, and other engineering fields.
Infrastructure: It is very good, and we have most of the facilities. The hostel is good, the nature, and the campus view are the best. It's also a good thing to be in Mangalore, as the people are friendly. The library facilities are excellent, and there are three libraries with very helpful staff.
Faculty: Teaching is not bad, but it could improve. Semester exams are moderate, and they try to prepare students for the industry. Some teachers are very good, and I enjoy them. I hope you experience the same thing. The course curriculum is relevant and is now autonomous, so it is easy.
Other: I chose this because I wanted to study in Mangalore and also focus on AI. Sentia, the event, is top-class; in fact, many people join because of that.
