Very bad condition of hostels at MNIT Jaipur.
Placements: Though it's among the top NITs, the placement rate is still 70-85 percent depending on the year and the number of companies hiring. 12-16 LPA is the average package. 40-55 LPA is the highest placement range, 7 LPA-9 LPA is the lowest placement range at multinational semiconductor companies such as Samsung, Mediatek, Micron Technology, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Intel, Moschip Technology, etc. The internship rate in the ECE branch is quite low, around 40-50 percent of students got internship at IIT, IIS, BHEL, BEL, Micron Technology, and Tata Elxsi. Job roles offered are Electronics R&D engineer, ASIC, FPGA, VLSI design engineer, embedded system engineer, and verification engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and washrooms of the academic building are damaged and not in hygienic condition, though some of them are renovated. Similarly, hostel buildings are very old and maintenance of washrooms and the water purifier is neglected, though hostel rent is Rs. 20,000 per year, which is budget-efficient. The mess worker maintains proper hygiene but the layer of colours from the roof peels off and food may be contaminated. Some washrooms of the hostel have water leakage in the roof. Wi-Fi has good enough speed for streaming video and is installed all over the hostel and academic building. Recently, all electronic instruments in labs have been replaced.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good enough that students can go through notes before exams and can score a good CGPA. Another piece of information is that to get an internship, you have to score 8 plus CGPA in every semester. The course curriculum is very much related, for example, computer-aided engineering drawing helps in embedded system design and IC design with minimal space. Other subjects like optical communication, antennas, IoT, and digital signal processing make it easier to understand semiconductors more effectively. The difficulty of the semester exam depends on teachers like if they are happy with the session, the exam would be easier. The pass percentage is not publicly known to everyone. Though teachers are helpful.
Other: According to educational rules, for SC/ST students all tuition fees are free, and for general students whose family income is less than a lac, they get free admission and EWS students get admission with 1/3rd fee payment of 62500 every semester, which makes it very easy to get admission for financially unstable scholar students. The best thing I like about the institute is this, this is why I chose MNIT. Jaipur has good historical places near the institute to visit, like Sisodia Rani ka Bagh. There are multiple playgrounds with playing equipment, and cultural clubs that organise events and fests frequently.

Overall experience with key points you must know before confirming MNIT, Jaipur.
Placements: You all know NITs perform well in placements as well as campus life. Companies like MediaTek, Micron, Apple, Samsung, Airtel, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, NVIDIA, and others visit MNIT Jaipur for recruitment. Hence, the highest package ranges between 36.2 and 52 CTC. The minimum salary ranges between 6 and 9 CTC. The average salary ranges between 14 and 18 CTC. MNIT has strong placement statistics of around 85–90%, and the internship rate is around 70–80% in local companies and semiconductor production companies. Top job roles offered to ECE students include VLSI engineer, embedded system designer, and ASIC designer. Also, communication system engineer, electronics and hardware designer, and semiconductor specialist roles.
Infrastructure: All the academic buildings were in the finest condition with a 50 Mbps Wi-Fi facility all over the campus. However, the hostel buildings were not in good condition when I stayed there; doors were broken, bathrooms were not working, and there was leakage at a few places. I think these issues have been reconstructed over time. Although the food quality was much better, there was no limitation on quantity. Proper hygiene was maintained with a mess charge of Rs. 20,000 and Rs. 12,000 for water, electricity, and hostel rent per semester. Campus also had a large auditorium, modern lab facilities, seminar halls, an e-library, a small garden with proper maintenance. Along with a cafeteria, medical facilities, sports grounds, and indoor games.
Faculty: MNIT had highly experienced and knowledgeable professors, which gave students an advantage in research work under the guidance of relevant faculty members. The teaching method and quality were acceptable and understandable. The course curriculum included analog system design, embedded system design, VLSI, wireless communication, and wave properties, which had a strong impact on students’ ability to work in the semiconductor industry and prepared them for production industries. The exams were quite difficult; sometimes they were open-book, and sometimes they required writing answers directly. Securing a good CGPA was challenging, but most students cleared exams in one attempt.
Other: Since MNIT was in my home state, I was allocated a good branch (ECE). The TFW scheme was also applicable. I chose MNIT to pursue B.Tech. Under the TFW scheme, only tuition fees are exempted depending on family income (if income is less than Rs. 1 lakh, complete remission. If income is Rs. 1–5 lakhs, two-thirds remission is provided on total tuition fees of Rs. 62,000 per semester). A lot of events, fests, hackathons, and tech fests were conducted by the institute. Students from other colleges also participated, making those days very enjoyable.

MNIT is the best NIT in India.
Placements: Almost 80% of students get placed in companies like Flipkart, Google, and ICICI. The highest package is 1 crore, the lowest package is 12 LPA, and the average package is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are ICICI Bank, Google, and Qualcomm. Almost 40% of students get internships.
Infrastructure: Here the classrooms are very big with a capacity of 120 students. Labs are also big. The library is very big with many books related to the course and general knowledge. Facilities in the hostel are good. Hostel mess and canteen are available. 24/7 medical facilities are also available. The grounds are very big for every sport.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach very well. The course curriculum is relevant but does not make the students industry ready. The semester exams are difficult and the class average is almost 40% of the marks. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course because in ECE we can go through both software and core sides. So it is beneficial for students who get selected for ECE.

Great college if you want both great placements and a good college life.
Placements: Placements are quite great, for ECE specifically, the highest package offered is 56 LPA this year, and the average will be around 15LPA. Companies like Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, and Apple do come here, so if you are skilled enough, this college will provide the right opportunities.
Infrastructure: We get free Wi-Fi everywhere, infrastructure is great, our lecture complex is very huge, in fact, the biggest in Asian, hostel facilities are great as well, with high speed internet and single rooms from the second year onwards. There are ample sports facilities as well.
Faculty: Faculty is very well qualified, all of them are very good at their professions, all of them have graduated from top government colleges and have done M.Tech and PhDs from great colleges as well. Exams are conducted in a very fair way with no unfair means.
Other: There are two fests primarily, which are Blitz and Sphinx, both of which consist of famous artists and dancers. Therefore, college life is very great here.

MNIT Jaipur is one of the Best NITs in India.
Placements: Here, almost 80% of the students got placed in the companies. The highest package is of 64 Lacs per annum. Average package is of 20 Lacs per annum. The lowest package is of 15 Lacs per annum. Top companies that recruited our students are Flipkart, Amazon, etc.
Infrastructure: As the college was built in the 2000s, the infrastructure is from ancient times, but the buildings are stronger than the new ones. The food in the hostel and canteens is okay, but it doesn't satisfy the taste of Southern people. They have to adjust. There are so many clubs for dance, finance, sports, etc.
Faculty: Faculty are very talented. They teach very well. The course curriculum is more relatable to our branch. It makes the students ready for industry. Here, the semester exams are bit tougher than we expected. We can't get even 70% of the marks. So we have to make efforts more and more.
Other: I chose electronic and communication engineering because with this course, we can move into either software or hardware. But the future India needs more hardware engineers as the semiconductor and battery industries are going to be established. Events and fests are more enjoyable. Campus is full of greenery. So many scholarships are provided, but we should choose one.

Satisfied with college and faculty, good placements. Infrastructure and maintenance are good.
Placements: About 90 per cent of the students in our course are placed each year. The highest package is 51 LPA in ECE. Average is 14 LPA, and the lowest is 8 LPA. Apple, Amazon, Google, Qualcomm, Texas, and Samsung are the major recruiters. Placement-wise, it's a good college, but you have to upskill yourself.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and college facilities are good. You would be given Ethernet in the hostel and common Wi-Fi in college. It's totally a veg campus. The food in some of the hostels is not good. The infrastructure in the hostels is good. New hostels are in process. Got a large cricket and football ground.
Faculty: Coming to teachers and professors, they are well qualified and helpful. Their interaction with students is good. Professors are largely experienced and have done their Doctorates in top-most IITs. The curriculum is relevant. It helps the students. Semester exams are difficult.

MNIT is one of the best colleges.
Placements: Malaviya National Institute of Technology is the best NIT in the northern part of India. It is well-known for its research. The placements are up to 80%. The environment is so beautiful. We can get internships in the third year of our course. The top company is Qualcomm.
Infrastructure: The labs are big enough. The classrooms are very large, and the library is also very big. The food quality in both the mess and canteen is excellent, but it can't satisfy the taste of the South side. Every week, a doctor is available. There are so many clubs related to sports, skills, dance, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are very talented. MNIT is better than some IITs. The teaching quality is good. Some of the semester exams are very difficult to score. CGPA is much more important to get qualified for jobs. We need to attend labs compulsorily, as attendance matters.
Other: I chose this course because we can move into either software or hardware. Events are celebrated grandly. Connectivity can improve through the clubs they have. So many students are benefited through scholarships.

Good placements. The infrastructure is well.
Placements: Around 75% of students are placed. The average package is around 15 LPA, the highest is around 70 LPA, and the lowest is around 5 LPA. You can expect good placements from the college and do not need to rely on external sources.
Infrastructure: The college interior is very beautiful and full of greenery. Hostels are not that good, but some, like H-15, are good.
Faculty: Faculty members are average, but many subjects useful for the CS field are also taught. Exams are moderate and not too tough.
