Well-rounded psychology program with great faculty and campus life.
Placements: I graduated in 2025 with a B.A. in psychology. Around 80-85% of my batch got placed. The highest package was 7 lacs per annum. The average is 4 lacs per annum. The recruiter included Fortis, Mind Pears, etc. Many students also interned at hospital NGOs and therapy centers. Common roles for psychology like intern, HR, trainee, and clinical assistant. The college and faculty offered decent placement support.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean. They have projectors. We had a functional psychology lab and access to books in the library. Wi-Fi worked across the campus. The hostel is decent. The mess food is hygienic and medical help was nearby. Sports facilities and common areas were also available.
Faculty: Our faculty members are helpful and highly qualified. Most professors had M.Phil and Ph.Ds. They taught through real-life examples. The curriculum covered clinical social counseling psychology and research. It felt relevant and job-oriented. Semester exam for fair and mostly based on lectures. The pass rate was high and support during the exam was strong.
Other: The campus vibe was energetic. Fests like cultural events and active student clubs made it fun full stop the crowd was friendly and transport connectivity was great. Scholarship were available. I wish there were more workshops or field visits but over it was a great experience.

Average college, decent teachers, but not much in the flavour of events.
Placements: B.A. students do not get college placements, but the Modern College psychology department helped many of us with getting a good internship. Internships were unpaid, but I personally learned a lot, from assessing children to interpersonal and managerial skills. After completing the degree, most of my batchmates are now pursuing Masters in psychology.
Infrastructure: The main requirement for any psychology student is cubicles with sufficient testing and experiential apparatus, and Modern College has that. It's not top-class, but definitely above average. We have a canteen in college, and the food there is decent. I don't know about the hostel in detail as I lived in a PG, but according to my friends, the hostel is average and hard to get.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were helpful and knowledgeable; they guided us in all the events. The curriculum is good; it gives a decent idea about various branches and schools of psychology, but not in depth as they cover more topics. This style of curriculum is really great for cracking the entrance exams and getting the basic knowledge of everything about psychology. Exams were moderate.
Other: You don't get a campus in Modern like that of Fergusson or SPPU; it's just buildings and buildings. But the psychology course at Modern is definitely among the top 5 in Pune.

It is an excellent college with good teachers.
Placements: Our college had excellent placements. Our colleges provided numerous job opportunities. The training was given to students by the college before the placement sessions. Top recruiting companies visited our campus.
Infrastructure: The college had a good library. Facilities were good. The sports department was excellent and encouraged players to join teams. Our classrooms had projectors, which helped us learn with slides and the topic.
Faculty: This college was autonomous, so the course would be more efficient and current situation-based. Faculty members were quite supportive. The curriculum was expected to be relevant because the college was autonomous. Our teachers were qualified.
Other: Our college organised many events, and the participation of students and staff members was quite commendable. I got admission based on my marks.

Good college with good internship and infrastructure.
Placements: Many students from our course got to do Internship. The career opportunities in our course are great. Internships that are provided really help you to build your confidence and profile.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, college has a good library and mess. The facilities are really good. Sports department is really great and encourages to go forward play in the teams.
Faculty: All the faculties and teachers are really good, kind and helpful. The teaching quality of our teachers is great. Semester exams helps you to know more about the subject.
Other: I love to learn about human mind and behaviour so I choose to do this course. The extracurricular activities are good and fun.
