Admission is completely based on merit scores obtained by the students in the NMIMS CET exam followed by a further admission process. The specialisations offered are Artificial Intelligence, Computer, Data Science, and Information Technology. Candidates passing the First Year of BTech/BE with a CGPA ≥ 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent marks (aggregate)
and no Backlog of the First year is eligible for the MBA Tech programme.

NMIMS CET eligibility criteria is released online. According to official NMIMS CET eligibility criteria, students who are above 25 years of age will not be considered eligible for the exam. Students should also check the other important criteria for the examination.

The first phase of NMIMS CET counselling dates will be held in April 2026. The qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the offered courses. The counselling dates for the second phase of NMIMS CET will be declared in the first week of June 2026.

Mukesh Patel School of Technology MBA programme is an intergrated programme that lasts for five years. Admission to the MBA programme is based on NMIMS CET entrance exam. The exam is conducted by Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) for admission to its BTech +MBA Tech courses. It is a university-level undergraduate common entrance test.

The institute has released the NMIMS CET application form on the official website i.e. nmimscet.in. Candidates must ensure that they meet the NMIMS CET 2024 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. Candidates who pass the exam will be admitted to one of the five NMIMS campuses located at Mumbai, Shirpur, Navi Mumbai, Hyderabad, Indore and Chandigarh.
