In the last semester, candidates have to complete a architectural design thesis. Along with this, there are subjects as well, including entreprenurship skills, computer application, and two professional elective subjects. Yes, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 registration commenced at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA released the CUET 2026 notification on January 03 and reopened the window on February 23. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2026 process commenced online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2026 exam must have completed complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling application form, candidates must make sure that they have fulfilled the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.

The detailed eligibility is mentioned below:

• Candidates with a regular Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in the Architecture / Civil Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Construction Technology / Planning / Urban Design / Masters Degree in Geomatics / Geo-informatics / Geographical Information System / Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Geography, Economics or Sociology from a recognised Institution / University are eligible. Candidates seeking admission are required to have secured minimum 50% aggregate (45% for the candidates from reserved category) at graduation level. Furthermore, the final year students are also eligible to apply for course. However, such candidates must have completed (passed) their Graduation before the commencement of programme.

NICMAR University, Pune has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

MBA/PGDM	Candidate must have completed bachelor's degree in any discipline with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. 45% for the candidates from reserved category at graduation level. Final year eligible graduating students can also apply. However, such candidates must have completed (passed) their Graduation before the commencement of programme. Relaxation to candidates as per Maharashtra Government norms.
PG Diploma	Candidate must have completed graduation degree in any discipline with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute.
BBA	Candidate should have minimum 60% in X standard /SSC (55% for the candidates from reserved category). Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2003 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from reserved category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1998).
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate should be a Resident/ Non-Resident Indian National/ PIO/ OCI. Candidate who have passed 3 years of Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 55 % marks (at least 50 % marks, in case of Backward class categories Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Disability) NRI/OCI/PIO, Children of Indian workers in Gulf Countries (CIWGC), Foreign National (FN) Candidates, are also eligible.
M.Plan	Candidate who have completed Masters Degree in Geomatics / Geo- informatics / Geographical Information System / Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Geography, Economics or Sociology with 50% aggregate marks can also apply. 45% for the candidates from reserved category.

The BBA course aspirants can apply for NICMAR University scholarships offered to UG students. There are several merit-based scholarship schemes. It is awarded to students based on academic performance and score of UG-NCAT. There a eligibility criteria for each scholarship scheme. Only the students who meet the prescribed criteria are awarded scholarships. For example, 75% of fee waiver under distinguished merit is offered to BBA + MBA course applicants with a UG-NCAT score greater than or equal to 88.

Different UG and PG courses accept different entrance exam scores at NICMAR university:-

1. MBA:- For this course, scores of exams like MAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT, ATMA, MHT CET, CUET-PG, CUET are accepted. 
2. BTech:- For this course, scores of entrance exams like CUET,   UGAT are accepted. 
3. BBA:- For this course, entrance exam scores of CUET and UGAT are accepted. 
4. M. Plan:- For this course entrance exam scores which are accepted for MBA are accepted. 

The students need to qualify in any of the entrance exams as well as in cut off forgot different courses and thier departments. 

The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass from a recognised board can apply for admission. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Candidates should have the qualifying exam pass certificate/mark sheet during form filling and admission. The document is required by the university for verification purposes.
