NICMAR University BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Dates, How to Apply, Eligibility, Seats, Placements

NICMAR University Pune offers four-year BTech course in one specialisation. The UG course is offered in Civil Engineering. Admission is done based on NICMAR Common Admission Test (UG-NCAT) scores. Additionally, the students can also apply with national-level exam scores, such as JEE/MH-CET/PERA/CUET/Other states CET. NTA will start JEE Mains 2026 registration in October. JEE Main application form 2026 will be available online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the separate JEE Main 2026 application form for session 2 in February.

For admission to BTech course of NICMAR University, Pune, aspirants must have the minimum educational qualifications. Aspirants must have the relevant documents as well. The documents are required to verify the provided details. The eligibility requirements are as follows:

• Passed Class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% aggregate, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates), OR
• 3 years of DVoc stream in the same or allied sector,  OR
• 3 years Diploma in Engineering & Technology passed with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for EWS and Persons with Disability)

Candidates seeking admission shall ensure that they meet the prescribed eligibility requirements. Moreover, the selection is done based on entrance scores. The application form can be filled out online. To know about the offline application, candidates shall get in touch with the admission office of the university. 

In the seventh and eighth semester of NICMAR Pune BTech course, students have to select preferred electives and perform the project work. The students have to select elective from the given basket of courses and open electives. Along with this, a project has to be completed to understand the practicalities of the subject. 

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2026 registration will commence in first week of March at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2026 notification in first week of March 2026. Soon after the release of the notification, the CUET registration 2026 process begins online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2026 exam must ensure that complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling out the application form, candidates must ensure that they fulfill the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.

National Testing Agency NTA will release the syllabus of JEE Main 2026 on the official website. Students can download the current JEE Main syllabus PDF from Shiksha page or from the JEE Main official page to start their preparation. It is advised that students prepare for the exam strictly as per the syllabus and do not leave any topic to prepare for the exam. NTA revised the syllabus of JEE Main last year and few chapters were removed that  from Physics Chemistry and Mathematics.
