Steps for NIELIT Shimla Admission Process 2025
Admission for long-term courses is usually held in January and July. Besides, admission for short-term courses are open throughout the year. Aspirants must follow the below steps to get a seat in NIELIT Shimla:
STEP 1: NIELIT Shimla Application Process 2025
The mode of application is online. Aspirants can also download the form and submit it offline. Candidates need to fill out personal, academic and other details in the application form. Aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 to register for the course.
STEP 2: Selection
NIELIT selects candidates for admission based on merit in the last qualifying exam. NIELIT conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for O and A Level courses. The institute evaluates the application form of the aspirants for admission. Since there are only 100 seats, the institute offers admission in MCRP PGDCA on first-come-first-serve basis. Selected candidates may be called for a virtual interview.
STEP 3: Admission Confirmation

Aspirants who have completed graduation or Polytechnic Engineering diploma after Class 12 can apply for A Level course.
