Candidates must have passed diploma from a recognized university and have studied courses related to Fashion/ Apparel/ Textile and Accessories/ Home Science/ Handloom Technology/ Products/ Visual Communication/ Graphic Design/ Industrial Design/ Interior Design/ Multimedia Design/ Apparel Technology/ Leather. Candidates who have completed 2 year regular UG diploma programme at NIFT are also eligible to apply.

Written Test
Eligible candidates need to appear for the General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the NIFT.
Studio Test
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Studio Test based on score obtained in General Ability Test (GAT).
Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview (PI) based on score obtained in Studio Test.
Final Selection
Admission is through counselling based on the cumulative score calculated on the basis of score obtained in GAT, Studio Test and performance in PI. Weightage will be given as: GAT- 40% Studio Test- 40% Personal Interview- 20%
