It's one in a lifetime experience. You need to churn the best out of it!

Placements: 1. About 40% of the students were placed 2. 7.6 LPA was the highest. 1.8 LPA was the lowest. Average was 3.8 LPA 3. Urban Ladder, Infoedge, Mangalam Arts 4. Design Associate 5. How is it different from question 2? 6. Everyone GOT internship (rather managed to get one) as it was mandatory. A handful for PPO for the same. Companies like - Marq Impex, Make My Trip, Tata Elexi etc.

Infrastructure: Everything mentioned here in points one and two was available. Just that the entire infrastructure and exploration and exposure to the industry was way lesser compared to other centres. Which I assume has gotten better now as the entire infrastructure has been built.

Faculty: 1. Few teachers were really helpful and qualified and understood the nature of design industry. Belonged to top colleges like NIFT and NID. But a few ones where from some random backgrounds and with zero knowledge or base of design. Guess this was happening because NIFT as a legacy became very liberal (ignorant will be a better word) in hiring talents to teach.

Other: 1. I chose the course due to its vast scope and the freedom to select what you want to pick up. NIFT as a whole, teaches you to deal with any situation that comes up when you work for the real world. 2. The teachers and entire module of course. The world is having higher bars for design and innovation and it's time that a national institute like NIFT gears up for the same. 3. Those all were amazing. But scholarship at NIFT can be partial at times, if you belong to general category. I guess that's common everywhere.

Do not opt for this college.

Placements: Pre placement offer during graduation project. On campus are not at all good. Choose companies for graduation projects wisely, so that you are noticed and capable of getting pre placed rather than running everywhere during on campus placements. Good luck if you are passionate enough.

Infrastructure: Good. But faculty members are very laid back. Lot of favoritism happens. If you satisfy the ego of teachers there you would probably be the best student in your department and with most "creative" skills. They do judge if you are from a tribal community or OBCs.

Faculty: Teaching quality is not at all good. Guest faculty members are great. The permanent faculty members never help to get their students an internship, job is a far thought. Fees are too high. They promise for scholarship but you have to run a lot for that which is not possible because you have to attend classes too.

Other: Stay focused, spend time on improving your own skills.

I'm satisfied with the campus, opportunities and faculty members.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Placements of our seniors were satisfactory, and almost 80% of the students got placed in good companies. You can start your own brand too with the help of your skills and capabilities. Placements depend on your skills for which you have to work really hard.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is awesome. The college offers a very friendly and natural environment. Classrooms and IT labs are fully air-conditioned. The college has the largest canteen among the other NIFT centres. A girls' is available for girl students of all the years, and the girls' hostel is fully enabled with Wi-Fi facility. Playgrounds are large enough.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good and helpful. They are experienced. The college also invites some guest faculty members from other institutions, and this helps the students to get a wider scope of different aspects. Within 4 years, you learn almost all the concepts related to the course. First-year students also get a chance to participate in activities like wall painting. Subjects are common for all departments during the first year of your course. You can come to your core branch from the second year.

Other: Events like Spectrum and Converge are conducted at the inter-college level.

It is a place that you can call home.

Placements: Everything depends on the kind of work you have been doing throughout the years. The more you learn, the more you explore, and the more you create. Placements in good companies depend on your portfolio and your academics. Companies like Wipro and Pepperfy come to the campus.

Infrastructure: In the hostel, we have a computer lab where students who don't have a laptop can also work. The quality of food is good. Volleyball court, basketball, table tennis, badminton, chess, carrom, football, etc., are various sports that are played on our campus. Labs have everything you need to work with.

Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful. During the course, you get to learn so much and explore different areas of design. There are no exams, just submissions, and juries, where there is a panel of faculty members who will judge our designs, products, or the work given. They ask questions related to our work.

NIFT Patna is an awesome college.

Placements: The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. There is no campus selection, and you have to go through it. You have to develop your skill during college time, like communication and personality matters. If you are a good designer, then do not need to worry about placements.

Infrastructure: Our college is near the railway station, so I think it is a very good thing for the students. Everything is available in an easy way. The infrastructure of our college is very good. The college offers a very good environment. There is full of enjoyment and entertainment with the study.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, caring and very creative. They always give us new ideas. They are qualified. Their teaching quality is very good. Their teaching methods are very practical. The student to faculty ratio is 60:1. Our college provides industry exposure for students.

Other: I am enjoying my college life.
