Yes, Students from economically weaker families as well as meritorious students are provided scholarships at NIFT Mumbai. Some of the scholarships offered by the National Institute of Fashion Technology NIFT are mentioned in the table given below:

To be eligible for MDes admission, applicants must have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in the relevant field from a recognised university. Candidates should possess both the degree and corresponding mark sheets. These documents may be requested during the form-filling process or admission confirmation for the purpose of detailed verification.

The total fee is around INR 150,000 per semester. The scholarship provided is called SARTHAK and it provides financial aid to economically weaker students.
For scholarships, you have to provide documents like Aadhar card, pan card, your bank details and your last one-year transaction details of bank, your income certificate.
The scholarship is only for tuition fees and the student has to take care of the food and lodging expenses.
