No, you cannot join National Institute of Fashion Technology Patna directly. You need to qualify in the entrance exam in order to take admission. The entrance exam is conducted by the university which is NIFT test. 56 marks may not be sufficient to take admission for BDes at National Institute of fashion technology Patna. Although your admission totally depends on the cutoff rank. This year the cutoff rank for BDes ( fashion designing) this year was 1692. The cutoff was not too much high, but 56 marks may not be sufficient. It also depends on for which specialisations you are applying for. Different specialisations will have different cutoffs as for all the departments different number of seats are available.
The total seat intake of NIFT Patna BDes is 176 seats. The seats are equally divided among the four specialisations, that is, the seat intake for each specialisation is 44.
