NIFT Patna Cutoff 2026: Check NIFT Round-wise Closing Ranks

No, there is no scope of joining NIFT Patna or any other NIFT Campus without appearing for the NIFT Entrance exam. The NIFT entrance exam is conducted by the NIFT Delhi and it is the common and only gateway for admission to NIFT.

The NIFT registration process is generally conducted in the month of November and the exam is conducted in the month of April.   

NIFT Patna offers admission to UG and PG courses through NIFT Exam. NIFT releases the list of last merit ranks campus-wise. Tabulated below are the previous year's specialisation-wise closing last merit ranks of NIFT Patna cutoff 2022 for the Open category candidates:

56 marks may not be sufficient to take admission for BDes at National Institute of fashion technology Patna. Although your admission totally depends on the cutoff rank. This year the cutoff rank for BDes ( fashion designing) this year was 1692. The cutoff was not too much high, but 56 marks may not be sufficient. To be eligible for BDes at NIFT Patna, the candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board and his/her age should be less than 24 years. 

The NIFT BDes admission criteria is completely based on the NIFT entrance exam. Aspirants with a rank of 3100 or below have a chance of securing a seat at NIFT Patna BDes.
