NIFT Patna MFM application process is typically conducted between November and June. For MFM admissions 2025, the registration process started on Nov 22, 2024. The last date to register online was Jan 6, 2025. Candidates who missed the deadline could apply with an additional late fee of INR 5,000 till Jan 9, 2025.

The application process for NIFT 2024 will be conducted online. After completing the application process, inclduing payment of fees, the candidate must download a printout of the application form.

In fact, the NIFT prospectus prescribes the candidate to “apply on time and keep a printout / photocopy of application form for further reference along with proof of payment.”

The NIFT 2024 application form is for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. There are 18 participating NIFTs that currently have a combined intake of 5.215 seats.

NIFT Patna cutoff 2024 was concluded for all the UG and PG courses. NIFT 2024 counselling had four regular rounds and one SPOT round of seat allotment for admission to the B.Des, M.Des, B.F.Tech, M.F.Tech, and M.F.M courses. During the NIFT Patna cutoff 2024, the most in-demand course was B.Des. in Fashion Communication with a last-round cutoff of 1339. For the same course, the closing cutoff was 1812 in 2023, while in 2022, the cutoff closed at 1513 for the candidates belonging to the General AI quota. 

NIFT Patna MFM application process is conducted online. Applicants must upload the specified documents on the admission portal. Later at admission, selected candidates must visit the NIFT Patna campus for physical verification of documents. The self-attested copies of the following documents must be uploaded with the application form:

• Class 12 mark sheet and certificate
• Proof of date of birth (Class 10 marksheet & certificate)
• Bachelor's Degree mark sheet
• Valid certificate of SC/ST/OBC - Non-Creamy Layer/PwD/Open - EWS category (if applicable)
