Each year, NIST admits over 100 students to its BSc courses. The admission is provided based on the applicants' merit in Class 12. The institute may also follow the state/central seat reservation policies for seat allotment. Total BSc seats at NIST are distributed among the seven BSc specialisations offered at the institute. At the time of admission to the BSc programme of NIST Berhampur, selected candidates have to pay an admission seat confirmation fee and a refundable caution deposit.
