The review of U.N. College, Soro, Balasore.

Placements: There was no direct placement after the completion of the B.Sc. But students got jobs after preparing for competitive exams. Students got jobs as chemical engineers, teachers, and lecturers. The majority of students pursue higher studies, but some of them have received internship offers.

Infrastructure: All types of B.Sc., B.A., and B.Com courses were offered. Dedicated labs, classrooms, a library, and free Wi-Fi were available. Hostel facilities were available. The hostel had a sports area. Canteen facilities were also available, and the quality of food was very good. The hostel staff behaved well towards every student.

Faculty: Teachers were well educated and qualified. They were polite and helpful. The college provided job-ready opportunities. Semester exams were quite easy. The other faculty members of the Chemistry department in our college also showed their noble behavior. The passing percentage was 33%.

Other: I love Chemistry. That’s why I wanted to graduate in Chemistry. Chemistry subjects could be taught more practically.

The history of the U.N. N college.

Placements: There is no placement directly after completion of the degree. But students usually go for higher studies like B.Ed. The maximum students are placed as lecturers. Many more jobs, like in the private sector, and some government jobs. Some are likely to prepare for competitive exams.

Infrastructure: The college has great infrastructure. Students are provided with a professional lab, a Wi-Fi-enabled library, a big BCR room, and great classrooms. The college has dedicated separate hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel includes a hygienic canteen. A variety of foods are available. Emergency medical facilities are available. The hostel has a massive playground behind it, where cricket and football are usually played.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. They are all selected through the government placement process and an interview. They have vast knowledge about their respective subjects. The curriculum lacks direct placement opportunities, but it is job-ready. Students are skilled for placement in the industry. Semester examinations are quite easy, and the pass percentage is 33%.

Other: My parents suggested I go for this course, and I have more interest in Physics too. Physics is my likely subject, and I have more options in the future. I think the course can be taught in a more practical way for better results and understanding. We use the lab less often. After all, the college celebrates different events at different times. The college fest happens annually on a massive scale. The college has a broad range of connectivity, and the Laxmi bus facility of Odisha is also provided. The students get all types of government and private scholarships available.
