NIST Berhampur BSc Courses & Fees 2025: Admission, Eligibility, Seats, Placements

NIST BSc admission is merit-based. Admission is provided to applicants based on their merit in Class 12. Candidates seeking admission at NIST must apply for the programme before the due date. To apply online for NIST admissions, candidates can follow the below-given steps:

Step 1: Visit the official NIST website

Step 2: Click on 'Admission 2025'.

Step 3: Enter your details (academic & contact details) to register.

Step 4: Fill out the application form, upload the required documents and pay the application fee.

Step 5: Submit and print the application form for further reference.

Alternatively, candidates can visit the campus of the institute & submit a hard copy of the application form. Once the application process is completed, the institute will shortlist applicants for admission, based on their Class 12 merit and availability of seats in their preferred specialisation. Such candidates must report physically to the campus for document verification. On final selection, they must submit the NIST fees applicable to them.

NIST BSc fee ranges between INR 1.3 lakh and INR 1.5 lakh. To confirm their admission, candidates must submit the admission seat confirmation fee of INR 15,000, which will later be adjusted toward the first instalment of the course fee. It must be noted that the fee amount is based on the annual fee mentioned on the official website of the institute/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

NIST provides financial support to its students in the form of scholarships and financial aid. Some NIST scholarships available for BSc students are as follows:

• Sibling Scholarship: A one-time scholarship of INR 10,000, provided to the sibling of a student
• Teaching Assistantship Scholarship: A scholarship of INR 1,000 per month, provided to selected students who assist teachers in their academic work. Students from second, third and fourth years from a department where 80% of seats are filled are eligible for the scholarship
• Research Assistantship Scholarship: A stipend of INR 2,000 per month for 2 months, provided to students who assist teachers in their research work
• Book Grant Scholarship: Books are made free for economically backward students.
• Economic Hardship Scholarship: A stipend of INR 1200 per month is given to economically backward students.
